Wanikiya Record/Promotion is proud to announce the release of the new single by ELEMENT: the cover of “Carry On My Wayward Son” by Kansas.
Born from the encounter of two different musical souls, ELEMENT explore the perfect balance between power and delicacy, merging the strong riffs of the guitar with the refined melodies of jazz piano. Their most recent project, “Essence of Earth”, is not just an album, but a true story of rebirth, resilience, and strength: an anthem to the individual’s ability to rise again and face the challenges of a world that never stops.
The project was created through the collaboration between guitarist Antonio Pollizzi and pianist Giusy Morabito, two artists who managed to combine the grit of rock with the sensitivity of jazz in perfect harmony. Enriching the sound are talented musicians: drummer Omar Cappetti (Any Face, Headless Ghost), bassist Christian Polloni, and singer Maxime Tosi, whose experience and unique touch brought to life an authentic and intense work.
Each track of “Essence of Earth”, their new album released on March 20, is a manifesto of resilience and hope – a sonic contrast where every note expresses both the power of the earth and the delicacy of emotions.
With the single “Carry On My Wayward Son”, ELEMENT pay tribute to an icon of 70s progressive rock, reinterpreting the song with their own artistic sensibility. The choice of this cover is no coincidence: its lyrics, which encourage perseverance and promise peace once the goal is reached, perfectly mirror the themes of “Essence of Earth” – the journey, resilience, and the strength to keep moving forward despite difficulties.
The single is now available online. A new interpretation that bridges classic and modern, marked by ELEMENT’s distinctive signature – a band ready to leave an indelible mark on today’s music scene.
