ELUKAS have revealed their new music video for ‘Naturaalne Narkar’. This song explores the profound emotions associated with addiction. Each of us, in one way or another, grapples with some form of addiction. These addictions may appear innocuous at first glance, but we are all acutely aware of the profound depths of the feelings they evoke. It presents us with an eternal struggle: “Should I resist, or should I surrender?”.
Elukas is a 5-member punk-rock band, whose main goal is to write, record, and perform their music. Their music is described as uptempo punk rock that could be the soundtrack for a bar fight, riot, or car chase scene.
They released 3 singles in 2022 and their EP “Loomad Koos” was released in 2023 via Wormholedeath.
Punk rock bombs ELUKAS proudly present their latest lyric video for the track “Laika,” taken from their critically acclaimed EP “Loomad Koos,” reissued via Wormholedeath.
“Laika” narrates the poignant story of the iconic space dog, highlighting her innocent journey from a normal existence to the cosmic unknown as she was propelled into orbit in 1957. The song encapsulates the tragic tale of Laika, reflecting on her unwitting heroism and the inherent cruelty of her role in a scientific experiment devoid of her consent.
Exploring profound themes of innocence, sacrifice, and the ethical dilemmas surrounding the utilization of animals in scientific endeavors, “Laika” provokes introspection into humanity’s moral responsibility towards other creatures. The track contemplates the ethical implications of subjecting living beings to scientific experiments without their comprehension or consent.
In the fall of 2021, Elukas began as a 5-member punk-rock band with a focus on creating their own music. They played their first concert on March 25, 2022. In May, they recorded 3 singles at Sinusoid Studio and held a writing camp at the drummer’s summer house. In late summer, their original bass player left, and singer Karl took on bass duties. In the fall of 2022, they released three singles at monthly intervals. “Ajurünnak” gained recognition on RockFM and Raadio2. Due to an injury, Alan filled in on bass and later joined permanently. In February, the band recorded their debut EP “Loomad Koos”. The single “Vein” (April 7, 2023) made it to the top 5 best new rock songs by RockFM listeners. Most recently, Elukas graced the stage at the Barbar Feast 2023 festival, where they kicked off the event as the opening act. They also rocked the crowd at the Heavy Music Estonia Showcase Day 2023.

Prepare for a sonic explosion as punk rock discovery ELUKAS drops the official video for “Vein.” This power-packed track is part of their EP “Loomad Koos,” scheduled for re-release through Wormholedeath.
In their music video “Vein”, the band showcased an unwavering DIY spirit, working with a short budget. The video’s direction was skillfully handled by their bassist, Alan, who was eager to explore his talents as a music video director. Impressively, all the daring stunts featured in the video were executed by their nearly-semiprofessional stuntman, who also happens to be the band’s lead vocalist, Karl.
The song itself delves into the theme of addiction, and the band wanted to convey that message visually in the video. Even if the lyrics might not be crystal clear to all their listeners, Elukas hopes the video tells the story in a powerful and visual way.
Experience the punk-rock revolution as Elukas unleashes “Vein” on the world.

About Elukas
Elukas embarked on their musical journey in the fall of 2021 as a five-member punk-rock band with a shared aspiration to create, record, and perform their distinctive music. Their debut concert on March 25, 2022, marked the beginning of an exciting chapter. In May of the same year, they ventured into Sinusoid Studio to record three singles.
During late summer, a significant change took place as the band’s original bassist, Mikk, chose to pursue a different path. Singer Karl Kärpuk took on the bass duties, a role he had already assumed during the band’s debut concert.
In the fall of 2022, they released three singles: “Metanoia” on September 30, “Hullumaja Puhvet” on October 31, and “Ajurünnak” on November 25. “Ajurünnak” garnered recognition, securing a spot in the RockFM December TOP-5 as voted by radio listeners. It also claimed 3rd place in the Estonian music category in the Rock Anthem of the Year competition and was selected as the debut of the week by Raadio2.
Just two weeks before their January concert, Karl sustained a wrist injury, leading to Alan’s temporary role as the bassist for that performance. Following a successful show, Alan was invited to join the band permanently, an offer he eagerly accepted.
In late February, the band established a makeshift studio in the drummer’s summer house, where they recorded five songs in just one week. This collective effort culminated in the birth of their debut EP, “Loomad Koos.”
Most recently, Elukas graced the stage at the Barbar Feast 2023 festival, where they kicked off the event as the opening act. They also rocked the crowd at the Heavy Music Estonia Showcase Day 2023.
