Finland Hyvinkää based symphonic power metallers THAUROROD – formed in 2002 – are currently recording their third album. The band has released the first preview from the upcoming album, check it out below.

Furthermore THAUROROD guitarist Emil Pohjalainen participated in Guitar Gods Festival 2016 competition hosted by Yngwie Malmsteen together with a talented young player Janne Nieminen from Hämeenlinna (Finland). They were voted to the finals with eight other finalists and the Emil and Janne won the whole competition.

Guitar Gods Festival 2016 in Miami is over and Thaurorod’s Emil together with Janne Nieminen won the whole thing! Now the guys are heading to Axes and Anchors Cruise to play some more with some of the world’s greatest guitarists such as Y.Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Marty Friedman, Chris Broderick and many more.
