UK metal bastions EMPLOYED TO SERVE have released an all-conquering live video for their bruising track ‘World Ender’, which comes ahead of the band’s UK headline tour at the end of October.
Filmed during the quintet’s huge Bloodstock set this year, the band comment on the new video: “Being invited to play the main stage at Bloodstock was a truly exciting moment for us and we knew we wanted to make a statement. We knew we had to immortalise this milestone performance in a video, and really capture the energy and enthusiasm of the Bloodstock audience. When it came to picking the song for the video, there was no contest, it had to be ‘World Ender’. The song itself is about one chapter ending and another beginning, which we think perfectly sums up our excitement for what comes next for ETS. We can guarantee it will be bigger and better than anything that has come before.”

EMPLOYED TO SERVE have released brand new single, “The Mistake”, which is the third single from the band’s forthcoming album, Conquering, due for release on September 17th via Spinefarm Records.
EMPLOYED TO SERVE guitarist/vocalist, Sammy Urwin says, “‘The Mistake’ is about letting other people’s opinions of you seep into your subconscious and filling you with self-doubt. In life you can’t always win over everyone, but don’t let the haters stifle your true potential and stand in between you and your goals.”
Drawing influence from the music of their youth and a new perspective on how to nurture the positive aspects of humanity and individual growth, Conquering is a celebration and acknowledgement of triumph in the face of a world that can be relentlessly adversarial.
ETS began recording the album in the “unforgiving winter” of 2020; produced & mixed by Lewis Johns at The Ranch, Southampton, mastered by Grant Berry at Fader Mastering, Employed To Serve took the time thrown at them by a world stopped still to write their most visceral material to date.
Pre-orders for Employed To Serve’s fourth studio album are now live, with an instant download of singles, “Exist,” “Mark Of The Grave,” and “The Mistake.” Special bundle options are available including t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and limited vinyl. Order your copy HERE.

EMPLOYED TO SERVE have released an accompanying music video for their latest single, “Mark Of The Grave” – check it out HERE.
“Mark Of The Grave” is the second single from Employed To Serve’s forthcoming album, Conquering, and demonstrates the band at their most metal yet. The video is a trip, to say the least…
“With this video we just wanted to have fun,” says Employed To Serve frontwoman, Justine Jones. “After months of being cooped up inside, we wanted to focus on a project that was more light-hearted. We shot the music video at Miracle theatre in Cornwall with director Ryan Mackfall. The theatre was kind enough to give us free-reign of their studio and stage costumes. Everything was shot in front of a green screen to maximise the opportunity to have fun with the edit. We then sent over a few notes to VFX artist Nadav Rotem and assistant Jake Potter, as soon as they came back with Sammy doing a solo on a flying, flaming skull I knew it was going to be my favourite video – it’s wild and we love it.”
Conquering, due for release on September 17th 2021,will be Employed To Serve’s second full-length album on the Spinefarm label.

EMPLOYED TO SERVE have released “Mark Of The Grave,” the second single from their forthcoming album, Conquering.
“This song is about people who’d rather put other people down, instead of getting on with their own lives,” says Employed To Serve frontwoman, Justine Jones. “When writing this song we wanted to try our hand at writing a positive metal anthem for people to blast when they’re having a shitty day. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we had fun recording and writing it! Stay kind \m/ “

Woking five-piece EMPLOYED TO SERVE have today released “Harsh Truth (Relived)”, a remixed version of an older release that now features guest vocals from Stray From the Path’s Andrew Dijorio. Listen to “Harsh Truth (Relived)” here.
“‘Harsh Truth (Relived)’ is a reminder that past demons have a habit of rearing their ugly heads again, and that doesn’t spell defeat,” says singer Justine Jones. “It means you stare back at them with more determination than ever before. This song is a reworking of the album track ‘Harsh Truth’ that sees the song take a more primitive and visceral shape. The track also features a guest spot from our friend Drew Dijorio, which takes the song to a whole other level. As soon as the guest spot started to take shape when we were reworking the track, we knew instantly Drew was the person for the job. The way he articulates his words with such venom fits perfectly with the groove whilst adding even more aggression to the tracks already punishing presence.”
Employed to Serve released their third album Eternal Forward Motionin 2019. The album landed on a host of year-end lists —including that of The Guardian — following on from its massive release reception. Both Kerrang! andNME awarded it a 5 out of 5 rating. The band also graced the covers of both Kerrang! and Upset around release.
