Japanese black/thrash act BASILISK, which formed in 1997 and featuring an ex-member of death metal band MONARCHIE INFERNALE, will finally release their first album, End Of Catastrophe, on December 20th.

A press release states: “Basically, their music is aggressive blackened thrash. They don’t hesitate to expand their musical horizon by adding complex technical riffs, driving melodic bass lines, and impressive melodic solos, etc… There is much experimentation, but their songs keep aggression and brutality! They use Japanese lyrics which add some exotic atmosphere. Dark and aggressive blackened thrash attack.
