California’s metalcore band, Atreyu has recorded a cover version of Aerosmith‘s “Livin’ On The Edge” for a new covers EP entitled “Covers Of The Damned”, which will be released on October 12. The other bands  — Blessthefall, Chiodos, Architects and Endless Hallway — will also contribute a track each to the effort, which will include additional songs originally written and recorded by the Deftones, Thin Lizzy, Dead Kennedys and Volbeat.

“Congregation of the Damned” Tour will kick off October 20 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California and will conclude on November 27 in Los Angeles. After the “Congregation of the Damned” tour, Areyu will go to U.K. for several of dates with Bullet For My Valentine and Bring Me The Horizon, beginning December 6, to be followed by a special Australian tour.
