Dutch metallers EPICA have launched the official live video for ‘Unchain Utopia’, which was recorded live earlier this year during the “European Enigma Tour” at their sold-out show at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium, reported Nuclear Blast. Watch the video below.
The video was shot and edited by Jens De Vos and his team at Panda Productions. The show was recorded by Ace Zec and mixed by EPICA producer Joost Van Der Broek.
EPICA recently kicked off their European (co-) headline tour with ELUVEITIE at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany with SCAR SYMMETRY supporting on all dates.
This summer, EPICA performed at numerous European festivals among which Wacken, Graspop, Hellfest, and Fortarock. During this run Jens de Vos and his Panda Production team filmed EPICA both on and off stage for an after movie.
EPICA recently dropped off their North American tour with ELUVEITIE and THE AGONIST due to a family emergency, which forced Simone Simons to fly back home. The band will return to the stage at Maximum Rock Festival in Romania next month, followed by a European Tour with ELUVEITIE and SCAR SYMMETRY. This will be the last European club tour in support of “The Quantum Enigma” before the band enters the studio to record their follow-up album.

Dutch Symphonic Metallers EPICA announced that they will have to cancel the remaining North American Dates, repors Nuclear Blast.
The band gave the following statement about their departure from the 2015 Revolver tour:
Dear North American fans.
It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the cancellation of all remaining shows of our North American tour.
A couple of days ago Simone had to fly back to the Netherlands to be with her family due to an emergency. Sadly, there has been no major improvement in that situation so it is impossible for Simone to return to the tour at this moment. Therefore, we have no other option than to cancel the remaining dates.
The Revolver tour will carry on as scheduled with Eluveitie, The Agonist and Martina Edoff.
Since this is the second North American tour in support of The Quantum Enigma that is cancelled, we are doing everything we can to reschedule as much of the tour as possible for the beginning of next year.
If you wish to refund your tickets you can do this through the venue. VIP-tickets purchased through Soundrink will be refunded automatically. Tickets for this tour will not be valid for the rescheduled dates.
We want to thank all our fans and partners for their understanding and support in this difficult situation.

Having previously worked with a variety of artists (Dr. Alban, E-Type, the Poodles, etc.), singer MARTINA EDOFF is ready to return to where her original musical love – classic hard rock – with the release of her solo debut, ‘Unity’ on October 16th via Into Records (distributed by Cargo Records), and will embark on a US tour from September 18th through October 3rd on a bill that will feature headliners EPICA, as well as ELUVEITIE and THE AGONIST.

‘Unity’ was recorded at the legendary Bohus Sound Studios in Sweden, whose long list of clients since the start 35 years ago includes both ABBA and Status Quo (who recorded their hit album and best-selling single ”Rockin’ All Over The World” in the same studio). Martina’s producer and sound engineer, Tobias Lindell, has previously recorded, mixed, and produced bands such as Europe, Mustasch, and Hardcore Superstar at Bohus Sound.
Martina describes the material on ‘Unity’ as “uptempo rock,” but several ballads help even things out. Standout tracks (and their creative inspiration) include:
