Kicking off the new record as a whole, “Hold Up Your Hearts (Again)” is the classic Fellowship joy revisited. No darkness here, just adventure, friendship, a rippin’ solo and the high seas! Our heroes sail into the unknown, knowing only that wherever the oceans take them will bring new stories, new memories and new songs. It calls for listeners to wear their hearts on their sleeves and go one better; to hold them up high, so that all those who wish to join in on the journey can see from miles around.

“Victim” is the Fellowship’s darkest song to date and centered on just how heavy the burdens we carry around with us can feel, and how addictive our vices can be when life gets hard. Isolated, lonely verses lead to a tour-de-force chorus that unleashes a pent up anger and, over the course of the song, morphs it into something positive. “Victim” is not just about feeling like the world is out to get you, it’s about overcoming that feeling and fighting back against your inner demons with everything you’ve got.

“Dawnbreaker” is a song of rebellion and the desire for freedom, carrying a beat that infects listeners with hope, drive, and ambition. Everyone has times where we feel like the world is completely dark; where neither light nor sound can get through the walls we put up to protect ourselves, or hide within. If we stay in the dark long enough, our eyes adapt and our pupils grow – we end up with ‘iron eyes’, all black, and hungry for any trace of light that finds its way into our dark worlds.
