Helsinki based Street Metal band Hammerhed originates from the early 2000’s and are truly a heavy metal music’s special task force.

The band consists of scene veterans, who have had the urge and the burning for underground music and culture from the early 80’s. This day it all culminates to Hammerhed, which is more than a way of life to it’s members. The band has previously released one album and one EP of non-compromised metal, crushing thrash and damn good playing. All this and more is yet to come, when the band releases their second album, The Fennoscandian Badass, and when the band heads to tour. Besides their home country the band has toured also in Asia.

The Fennoscandian Badass brings together the aggression, bitterness and fighting spirit of street metal performed by Hammerhed. It is all there in a nutshell; the rage, the groove, the attitude, life in one violent breath. Legendary producer Aaro Seppovaara and Hammerhed, lethal combination!
