The first exclusive airing of the new song by Indian horror metal band ALBATROSS, ‘Uncle Sunny At The Tavern’ from their upcoming EP, “The Kissing Flies”, featuring Niklas Stalvind from WOLF, will be tomorrow on Blackdiamond’s Metal Mayhem show on FIREBRAND ROCK RADIO. The show is on from 10pm – 12am GMT.
The Kissing Flies is Albatross’s second release, after their 2010 debut Dinner Is You. The EP forms a part of a split release with American occult metal band VESTAL CLARET and is slated for an April release.

As previously reported, BLAZE BAYLEY is going to release a new album, entitled “The King Of Metal” In March.
“work has now started on my new album. with luck it should be ready at the start of my tour on the 8th of march 2012 in belgium. the new album and the tour are called “the king of metal”. over the many years i have been a professional singer, and through my ups and downs, i have noticed how some artists and bands take their success and their fans for granted. for me there is no heavy metal without heavy metal fans. i am dedicating the new album and tour to my fans and the fans of heavy metal.
it is called “the king of metal” because you the fans are the real kings of metal. each one of you that buys albums and merchandise and tickets to gigs, is a king of metal to me. i will try and keep the ticket prices as low as i can where ever it is possible on this tour. as a thank you to my hardcore loyal fans, the next big bash will be a free all ages show, but under 16s must bring an adult. even though it’s free you will need a ticket. tickets are available at my webshop. please don’t order a ticket unless you are definitely going to the show, because there is only a 300 capacity at the venue. it’s on sunday 20th of may at the public in West Bromwich, England.

Michael Schenker born on 10 January 1955 in Sarstedt, Lower Saxony is a legendary rock guitarist, best known for his tenure in UFO, in addition to his solo band. He has influenced many notable guitar players, including Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden), Michael Amott (Arch Enemy – Spiritual Beggars), Chris Caffery (Savatage), George Lynch (Dokken – Lynch Mob), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake – Dio), Roland Grapow (Masterplan – ex-Helloween), Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon) and many many more.

BLACKDIAMOND of Firebrand Rock Radio and Metal Shock Finland has recently conducted an exclusive interview with legendary guitarist MICHAEL SCHENKER when he was in London and discussed the upcoming “Temple Of Rock” album amongst many more things.
When asked about working with various different musicians on the new album “Temple Of Rock“, Michael said: “‘I didn’t have any of those things planned. At the time I was working on a touring project with Herman Rarebell and Pete Way and I was also looking for a studio to make a new record. Michael Voss offered his studio, so I asked him to help me out with vocals and when I heard him I said ‘wow he can sing!’ so I asked him to join me, then Pete and Herman wanted to join in. So I then thought it would be great to have musicians I worked with in the past and they were all available.”
“Right now I’m doing 3 guitars – I have the Retro guitar, one called Strangers in the Night and I’m promoting a new one, a ‘Kaleidoscope’, a very colourful guitar, which is only a prototype. So these are the 3 guitars I’m playing and promoting now.” When asked about the new signature Dean V guitar due out this year, Michael said.
