The elected track receives the title of “Ashes Of Your Past Beliefs” and represents the current sound of the band, characterized by sharp riffs, complex melodies and a very wide vocal registration.
Contemporary Extreme Metal trio FORSAKEN WORLD presents now the first single extracted from their new LP “Fragments”, released on 10 November, via Art Gates Records.The elected track is entitled “Our Own Society” and has been chosen by the band to represent the album.
“It’s a powerful song, single sized, and really important in the concept (the moment that the survivors decide that they have to rebuild the destroyed world) and that’s the song where the previous album Touch is the most present, it can make a link between the two atmospheres.”
The albums has been recorded and mixed at The Quiet Place Studio by Stelio “Dyp” Pagani and mastered at Endarker Studio by Magnus “Devo” Andersson.

This young trio breathes Nordic Melodic Death Metal influences with catchy melodies, but also borrows a lot of sharped riffs from the Metalcore/Deathcore scene as well as its devastating rhythms. All coupled with an aggressive and wicked voice, but which also handles intense feelings. With more than 40 shows in more than 20 different countries, the band have shared stage with international names such as Marduk, Immolation and Noctem!
After releasing their debut album in 2012, entitled “As Time Reflects Our End”, Forsaken World are ready to continue with their conquest releasing worldwide their second LP on Monday, November 10th, through Art Gates Records.
The cover artwork has been designed by the artist Sinka and it reflects the vision of an unknown city right after an apocalypse that has been set from the flash out of the previous album.
