Multi-national metal machine DRAGONFORCE have announced, via their Official Facebook Page, the drum clinic of their drummer Gee Anzalone:
In collaboration with Mapex Italy and Casale Bauer, DRAGONFORCE drummer Gee Anzalone is happy to announce his drum clinic date, set to take place on May 27h at the “Città della Musica” in Via Pietro Nenni, 105, San Giovanni Teatino (Chieti-Italy). Do not miss it!
SF Bay Area Metallers KILL RITUAL have announced the addition of drummer Koryun Bobikyan to the group’s ranks, who takes over for the recently departed Gee Anzalone (DragonForce).
Koryun is a SF Bay Area local by the way of Armenia where he performed in numerous bands (Stryfe, Sacrond, Sworn) and even performed with Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) in part with the Armenian Symphonic Orchestra. He’s also a professional violinist and drum teacher who has performed over 700 concerts.
Guitarist Steve Rice comments on the new addition to the line up: “Kore was one of the best candidates that submitted material and has an extensive professional resume in his performances as both a drummer and violinist. Being that he’s in the Bay Area is just icing on the cake. He’ll be immediately thrown into the fire recording drum tracks to our new CD which is 90% completed and ready for a 2015 release. We look forward to hitting the road once again in 2015 and productive future with our latest line up.”

DRAGONFORCE have announced former Braindamage and Kill Ritual drummer Gee Anzalone has joined the band.
A native of Turin, Italy, Gee is a drum teacher who graduated from the NAMM Academy of Milan and carries on the well established multi-national mix of musicians that make up DragonForce
Gee will make his live debut on the forthcoming ‘Maximum Overload’ UK Tour which commences on September 17th in Edinburgh and replaces Dave Mackintosh who recorded 4 albums with the band prior to the forthcoming ‘Maximum Overload’ which is released on August 18th via earMusic.
Dave is moving on to pastures new to focus on his first musical love, which is Prog Rock, and has released the following statement.
“After much thought I have parted ways with the boys in DragonForce to pursue my first love of progressive rock, I wish the lads all the luck in the world and look forward to the release of Maximum Overload as I truly believe this is the most fantastic DF album that I and the boys have recorded to date!
Many thanks to all the fans who have supported me in this last decade of massive tours, countless shows and all the albums, I couldn’t have done it without you.
I will continue to tour and play with some of the greatest names in Prog Rock, and hope to see some familiar faces on the road!
In the meantime, stay metal, watch out for the new Dave Mackintosh website which will be launched within the next 4 weeks as well as some great new videos I will be producing with my gear sponsors. DF forever!!” Dave.
