Hope Hotel is the debut EP from Southend-On-Sea’s fast growing indie band GEORGE SANDERS AND THE PARALLELS. Drawing inspiration from every decade while forging a fresh and recognizable sound, George Sanders And The Parallels received recognition early when they made it to BBC Introducing’s ‘Top Picks of 2022’, earning praise as “Arena Ready.” Additionally, they have graced the airwaves of “Shakey’s Sessions on CCR”, “Phoenix FM”, and “Radio Essex”.
 
George Sanders and the Parallels have embarked on an inspiring initiative to address environmental concerns. Teaming up with Ecologi, for each follow they receive on Spotify, the band commits to planting tree saplings in areas affected by deforestation caused by various factors, including global temperature rises and rising sea levels. ‘Tired’ is the debut single from English rock quartet GEORGE SANDERS AND THE PARALLELS and is officially out now via Bread & Butter Records/Golden Robot Records.

‘Tired’ features raw, raspy vocals, heavy hitting guitars and drums which build to a climactic ending, all of which is born from a single piano key at the start of the song. The lyrics share the story of a relationship in its last stages, the lyrics are from the heart and will tell a familiar tale to many listeners. 

The band have released a music video to support the new track. 
“We recorded the video for ‘Tired’ in Shoeburyness, a town just next to Southend, at an old gun emplacement from WW1 and 2. It was used as a line of defence against enemy planes before they followed the Thames and eventually reached London. It’s a circular, old, concrete, run down structure, with history seeping from every crack. 
Despite surviving two wars and years of environmental thrashing, it is still standing, much like the protagonist in our song ‘Tired’, riding the waves of a turbulent relationship, but still standing come the end. 
The video was recorded by a friend of ours, Roberto, who helped direct us to accurately capture what we set out to achieve. A real, raw video, with no bells and whistles, that mimics what we are about as a band. No nonsense, loud, guitar music.”  says frontman George.
