Stoner Rock Metal trio GRIM COMET has unveiled the cover artwork for their debut LP, which will receive the title of “Pray for the Victims”. The cover artwork has been designed by the artist Marta Hdez H. The album is set to be released, via Art Gates Records, on November 10th Worlwide.

The sound in the album can be described as a combination of 70’s Rock mixed with elements of the Big 4 Thrash metal acts. From Black Sabbath to Motörhead through Megadeth, Metallica and many more bands that influence the songs on the album. Clean and distorted sounds mixed in enveloping atmospheres. It is a very diverse LP in which each track is different.

The album has been recorded, mixed, and mastered by Carlos Sáiz at Estudio Tema and produced by W. Black.

The band has renewed their line up and now is composed by:

Willy Black: Guitar/Vocals
Alvarito Arias: Bass
Carlos Valverde: Drums

Art Gates Records are proud to announce Stoner Rock/Metal trio GRIM COMET as the new member in the family.

This Madrid based combo was born in January 2014. GRIM COMET define themselves as a different band, their sound combines Stoner Rock influences from the 70’s, and classic Heavy Metal and Doom references.

The trio absorbs in their music and incorporates elements from the 70’s as they could be Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelinand Pink Floyd; also influences from the Big four North American Thrash Metal and NWOBHM bands like Motörhead and Venom.

One of the strength points of Grim Comet is their live show, each concert is unique because of the dynamics of their songs, improvisation and changes in their setlist.
