Swedish heirs of 80s Hard Rock H.E.A.T have released their new single “Freedom”, now available on all music streaming & download platforms. Once again, the band shows its ability to blend powerful, high-energy riffs with heartfelt lyrics that touch on the themes of hope, courage, and perseverance.
H.E.A.T have been making waves in the scene since their formation in 2007, earning a loyal fanbase with their electrifying live shows and catchy, anthemic songs. After the return of original singer Kenny Leckremo on vocals, and hymns of praise for their 2022 album “Force Majeure”, H.E.A.T promise to deliver more of the same energy in 2023.
“Freedom” is just a taste of what’s to come, and fans can look forward to more exciting news and releases from the band in the coming months. Stay tuned and mark May 5th in your calendars!
H.E.A.T are hitting the stage in H.E.A.T City with their brand new single and video ‘Hollywood’. H.E.A.T’s new album Force Majeure will be out on August 5th, 2022.
Hollywood – a world of wonder, glamour and fantasies come true. Or is it? With their new single and the accompanying video, H.E.A.T deal with the question of appearance and reality, the standards created by the media and the pressure that weighs especially on the younger generations. With the accompanying music video, the band makes this rather serious matter accessible with a funny little twist – they play on the first ever H.E.A.T City talk show (keep your eyes open for the Easter eggs).
After the electrifying ride through H.E.A.T City with the previous music video for Back To The Rhythm, the band now opens the door to even more previously unseen places and corners of the exclusively created virtual world.
For most people, the last two years have probably been marked by exactly what has given H.E.A.T’s album its name – a “force majeure”. But H.E.A.T definitely don’t let such force stop them, quite the opposite. The band is back with original singer Kenny Leckremo on the lead, taking everyone on a speedy and energetic ride through H.E.A.T City!
Since the band’s early days, starting from their song “1000 miles” – a huge hit in their Scandinavian home in 2009, media worldwide has been praising each and every of the band’s albums as one of the best rock albums in the respective years.

But not only sonically, but also visually, the band takes it up a notch. For the music videos as well as the whole artwork, a vibrant fictional world – H.E.A.T City – has been built for this release only, creating an exciting surrounding for the band’s energetic album.

Celebrated Swedish rock band H.E.A.T have rescheduled their “Sign In The Northern Sky” October 2021 UK tour to October 2022.
The rescheduled 2022 UK tour dates include Leeds Warehouse (Friday October 14), Wolverhampton KK’s Steel Mill (Saturday October 15) Swansea Patti Pavilion (Sunday October 16), Nottingham Rescue Rooms (Monday October 17) and London Electric Brixton (Tuesday October 18). Tickets remain valid for all dates.
The UK tour celebrates the welcome return of H.E.A.T’s original lead singer and powerhouse frontman, Kenny Leckremo.
”It’s like a shot at redemption,” says Leckremo. ”I’m thrilled to be back, and to be a part of what H.E.A.T is today. No longer just a shadow of the past, but a force into the future. The H.E.A.T legacy continues.”
“I am so excited to be back performing with my H.E.A.T brothers and can’t wait to rock out with our UK fans in October 2022,” adds Leckremo. “This tour is going to be a very special occasion for all of us. We look forward to seeing all of you on the road in 2022.”
Leckremo replaces H.E.AT’s previous lead singer, Erik Grönwall, who announced his departure from the band towards the end of 2020.

The rescheduled October 2022 UK tour follows H.E.A.T’s critically acclaimed album “H.E.A.T II” that spawned the hit singles “Rise”, “Come Clean”, “Rock Your Body”, “Dangerous Ground” and “One By One”.
“H.E.A.T II” is the first album to be produced entirely by the band with Jona Tee and Dave Dalone as producers. “This is what we would sound like if we made a debut album 2019, hence the title,” says Jona.
In 2009, H.E.A.T had a huge hit in Scandinavia with the song “1000 Miles”. That same year the band’s second album, “Freedom Rock”, was nominated as one of the Top 50 albums in 2010 by the UK’s Classic Rock Magazine. Since then, they have toured the world, blowing audiences away with their outstanding live concerts.
In a time when artists like Foreigner, Journey and Whitesnake are enjoying a resurgence, teenagers are re-discovering the melodic approach to hard rock. Kids are suddenly wearing classic rock band logos on t-shirts.
H.E.A.T don’t hide their love for their classic rock heroes, but don’t try to copy it, either. They just do it, and they want to be the best at it. And they are one of the best – drawing both young and old to their mesmerising, freshly sounding, energetic classic rock and bombastic melodies.
The Swedish rockers are the beacon of light that many say will carry this tradition into the future.
H.E.A.T plan on releasing new material in 2022 to coincide with the rescheduled October 2022 UK tour dates.
When original singer and founding member Kenny Leckremo recently reunited with H.E.A.T, fans got eager to hear how the group’s current sound would merge with the voice of the initial front man.
Last Saturday, the band presented a video as a reaction to the most curious fans waiting for shows and new releases. The broadcast can be seen below, with band members present in the chat to fraternize with fellow music lovers.
