UK death metal powerhouse VISCERA have released a new music video for their song “Hammers and Nails” which is off of their debut album ‘Obsidian’.

With Obsidian the group – which features a veteran lineup including ex-Sylosis/Heart of a Coward vocalist Jamie Graham as well as former members of Martyr Defiled and Abhorrent Decimation – have crafted a crushing, thrillingly technical, and mature album that one would expect from musicians of their pedigree. Blabbermouth said “VISCERA have sharp hooks, bursts of pointedly bilious clean vocals and lyrics that eschew the usual war and horror tropes in favor of a brutal plunge into the rigors of turbulent mental health. When all those elements are hurled into the cosmic cauldron, the resultant brew could easily be a mess, but “Obsidian” is anything but.”

Obsidian was mixed and mastered by Michael Leo Valeri (Brand of Sacrifice) with artwork being provided by Shindy Reehal (Ingested, Harbinger).
