DARK TRANQUILLITY are confirmed to headline the Neckbreaker’s Ball Tour 2011 in October/November, booked by Rock The Nation. Also on the trek are ELUVEITIE, DEATH ANGEL, VARG (rotating slot), MERCENARY (rotating slot) and OMNIUM GATHERUM.

Dark Tranquillity: “Greetings darklings! It’s time again to bring our music to the road and to the ever hungry European audiences. Starting October 28, we’ll be headlining the Neckbreaker’s ball tour, which will treat the audience to a six-band metal overdose for three weeks. Needless to say, we’re pleased and excited about being part of such a diverse and interesting line-up, and we’ll do our outmost to ensure very special shows each and every night. See you there!“

The band’s last album “We Are The Void“ came out in early 2010 and was followed by two US tours, a Latin America tour going from Mexico to Uruguay and everything in between, several European summer festivals, an European headlining tour with Insomnium and even gigs in India!

Some trivia about “We Are The Void”: it was in the top 10 of the most sold metal albums in Sweden in 2010 on #8! It was in the Swedish Metal charts on #1, in the Swedish album charts on #9, in the Finnish album charts on #16, in Germany on #59 and hopefully in your heart on #1.
