“Get ready to rock! Amorphis, one of the legends of Finnish metal music, storms the stage of Huvila Festival Tent with their friends in August. The unique double-billing covers the band’s entire repertoire from progressive metal to virtuoso playing and lyrics inspired by Karelian mythology.

The evening begins with intimate improvisation ranging from ethnic to progressive music with a metal twist. The performers include Pekko Käppi, conjuring magical tones from his jouhikko bowed lyre, and multi-instrumentalist Sakari Kukko, best known for his band Piirpauke.

A poetic performance by Pekka Kainulainen paves the way for the second set to round off the evening. For the first time in Finland, the entirety of the 2015 album Under the Red Cloud will be played at Tokoinranta.”
