Italian rock power trio PIC (Pawns In Chess) will release their new EP “Hiding Places” on December 6th via Volcano Records.

PIC (Pawns In Chess) is a Rock Power Trio from Torino (Italy), formed in 2017. The band was influenced by Blues and Hard Rock legends such as B.B. King and Led Zeppelin. The idea for the name of the group comes from the lyrics of the song “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath. During the first three years of activity, the band recorded a 5 songs demo and since May 2019 started the collaboration with Italian label Volcano Records & Promotions, recording the EP “Hiding Places”, produced by Alessandro Liccardo, guitarist for the band Hangarvain. The ensemble played live in North of Italy as the main act and took part to several festivals and contests, playing gigs at the Legend Club in Milano and the “Tony Mills Festival”.
