HRH NWOBHM 2016

The organisers of Hard Rock Hell have stated: The start of this year was a landmark for HRH, with all 2016 events being sold out before the year started. Even our latest inaugural event HRH Doom vs HRH Stoner is now totally gone, boom.

For three very good reasons we’ve decided to stick one last event on, this December.

Firstly it will be the last event we do this year and we want to gather the HRH family up one last time and make an Xmas party with a difference, cool Rock, cool people, cool party, our very own ” Xmas Rocka”,…I’ve put a lot of thought into this and I want a lot more than just the music happening at this nutty Rock n Roll affair.

Secondly, we all forget our roots sometimes as well as things that make small impacts in our lives as we grow up. We want to dedicate this Xmas Rocka to a genre of music that lay the foundations for a lot of us whilst we emerged into our circle of music. Most people touch on it..or probe at it, we want to dedicate a whole weekend to it. We want the HRH Horn to sound the “Roll Call”, and gather the bands and tribes we all created under this specific genre banner, we all came to love, N.W.O.B.H.M.

Some of the bands don’t play much, some have retired in some ways or went on a hiatus crusade, but the horn has sounded and were calling in 21 of the best and putting them all together in Sheffield on the 2nd and 3rd of December in a 2 arena, 2 day Xmas Rocka.

Lastly, with the nature of the time and genre, HRH NWOBHM will probably be a one off, but I feel we should give the genre the respect and celebrate it, albeit under an HRH Xmas Banner…We will have three HRH Hotels for the non locals plus all the usual areas in the venue.

Make the most of it and seal your throne at an HRH Xmas Party you’ll probably remember for a long long time to come.

It will probably be a one off.

There will be two stages both days, Friday will start 17.00, Saturday 14.00,both days til late.

Hotels offer Classic, VIP n Royalty Passes as well as the usual privileges.
