UK Metallers I.C.O.N will be opening the London show at the O2 Academy Islington this Sunday 12th July as the show kicks off ANVIL’s four-date tour of the UK this summer. Label mates Dendera are main support for the tour.

I.C.O.N announce their first run of UK tour dates in support of new album “The Blacklist”.
“The Blacklist” is the long-awaited second album by British metal band I.C.O.N and is released on Monday 15 June on Metalbox Recordings. “The Blacklist” sees the band deliver a more aggressive, comprehensive representation of what they are about. Years of travelling the length and breadth of the UK have finally culminated in a stable line-up that shares a common vision as this new album will testify. The tour dates include a London show with label mates Dendera at The Garage on 18 June & a headline slot on the CackBlabbath RACPA stage at Wildfire Festival, Scotland on 27 June. Since the release of their debut album “New Born Lie”, British heavy metal band I.C.O.N have consistently toured and promoted the album, hammering their sound into various corners of the UK.
As well as headline shows, I.C.O.N have supported Breed77, Blaze Bayley, Warrior Soul, Diamond Head, to name a few, and the band have spent the past few months writing and recording the follow-up to “New Born Lie”.
