Technical prowess and a barrage of speed come for you in the new two-track EP “Idiopathic Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head” from Japan’s Impending Annihilation, out on April 19, 2024, on Gore House Productions. Instead, they view vocals as instruments themselves, using growls and gutturals in the same way one would incorporate sweeps and tappings into a song structure.
