The schedule for Helsinki Metal Meeting taking place during Feb 17.-19. can now be viewed on the OHJELMA page.

Program for Industry Day seminar / show case -event at the Virgin Oil Co. on Thursday Feb 17 has been announced. The evening will be headlined by BEFORE THE DAWN, who will be celebrating their brand new “Deathstar Rising” album. Also on the bill will appear VERENPISARA, a band featuring several members of Amorphis, who will also be releasing their new “Eilinen on kuollut” album next month and AVATAR from neighboring Sweden.

Suomi Metal Star band contest organized by Century Media Records has reached its final stage. On Saturday Feb 19, the following bands will take the Valssaamo stage at the Cable Factory to fight it out for a Century Media recording contract: AVATHAR, ODDLAND, ABLAZER and ARTIFICIAL HEART.

Tickets for Finnish Metal Expo are now on sale at http://www.lippupalvelu.fi and http://www.tiketti.fi. One day tickets only. Tickets cost 35 euros in advance and 40 euros at the door (if not sold out). Tickets for the Virgin Oil Co. BEFORE THE DAWN etc. show will go on sale tomorrow Friday Jan 14 at http://www.tiketti.fi and http://www.lippupalvelu.fi for the price of 10e. Age limit 18. Possible ticket agency fees will be added to all advance ticket prices.

FME is an all-ages event with bars to those over 18 and feeling the urge for such services.
