Less than a month before IRON SAVIOR’s eagerly awaited new double album “Reforged – Machine World” finally hits the shelves (August 22, 2025 via PERCEPTION – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music), the German band have launched its final preview. Compared to the two previous single, the title song ‘Machine World’ has a rather bulldozing feel to it and is settled in mid-tempo realms – without missing the top-notch heavy metal precision the group is loved for worldwide, of course.
Band founder Piet Sielck (vocals, guitars) looks back at the track’s original release: “‘Machine World’ was the musical epicentre of our “Battering Ram” record. Its story line built on a 1-million-year old machine intelligence in the Andromeda Galaxy is not minorly epic than its riffs and melodies which transport the message of the song perfectly. Fun fact: We originally wanted to name the album “Machine World” instead of “Battering Ram,” so everything comes full circle now.”
IRON SAVIOR’s “Reforged – Machine World” release will feature 15 reinterpreted tracks from their rich catalogue, rounded off by a cover of JUDAS PRIEST’s ‘Starbreaker.’ Pre-order/pre-save here: https://ironsavior.rpm.link/machineworldPR

IRON SAVIOR stand as veterans and trailblazers of the traditional power metal scene, proudly carrying nearly three decades of legacy. Founded in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Piet Sielck, the Hamburg-based band quickly made a name for themselves with their electrifying blend of classic power metal and science fiction-inspired storytelling. Their early albums, steeped in a narrative about a spaceship bearing the band’s name, have long captivated fantasy-loving metal fans and remain fan favourites to this day. Releases like “Iron Savior” [1997], “Unification” and “Interlude” [both 1999], “Dark Assault” [2001], “Condition Red” [2002], and “Battering Ram” [2004] became instant classics – so popular, in fact, that they eventually sold out.
In order to meet the demand, IRON SAVIOR — now consisting of Sielck, guitarist Joachim Küstner and a rhythm section powered by Patrick Klose (drums) and latest member Patrick Opitz (bass) — didn’t only re-record the material from their Noise Records years [1997-2004], they even added an additional doze of enthusiasm to the original songs. Part 1 and 2 of these session have been received enormously well from fans, that’s why the group are even prouder to announce the release of the concluding third part of their legacy worshipping “Reforged” series today.
Due out on August 22, 2025, “Reforged – Machine World” features reinterpreted songs as well as a cover version of JUDAS PRIEST’s ‘Starbreaker,’ skilfully bridging to IRON SAVIOR’s old tradition of frequently paying tribute to the ‘metal gods.’ The new 2CD/LP marks the quartet’s debut release at their new label home PERCEPTION, the promising new division of Reigning Phoenix Music, where they (re-)unite with other well-known acts such as DANKO JONES, GRAILKNIGHTS, J.B.O., and SERIOUS BLACK among others. The 16 included tracks were recorded and produced at Powerhouse Studio Hamburg by frontman Sielck, who additionally took care of mixing, mastering and artwork/layout of the album.
Band leader Piet Sielck comments: “After collaborating with Nils Wasko and Jochen Richert [managing director] at AFM Records, I didn’t have to think twice when it came to deciding about a new partner. Continuing success, chart entries and three satisfied parties – band, fans and label – are more than enough reasons to follow the two of them to PERCEPTION and the Reigning Phoenix Music family. Onwards to at least 15 more years of this fruitful union!”
Label strategist Wasko adds: “We’re really thankful for IRON SAVIOR’s trust, and we’re equally happy to continue working with Piet and his fellow men at PERCEPTION. Having a collaborative long-term plan, IRON SAVIOR are only warming up, and we’re extremely confident to reach new extragalactic spheres together, with their final “Reforged” chapter blasting off on the journey to their next original studio album. Power and melodic metal maniacs, go aboard!”

Today’s announcement is supported by the first appetizer of the ‘upgraded’ album, ‘Eye Of The World [2025 Version],’ which can originally be found on IRON SAVIOR’s 2001 effort, “Dark Assault.”
“I was just never happy with this song. Somehow it didn’t really take off. But the new version is an absolute hit and is now even being released as the first single,” comments Sielck.
After recently returning to Italian stages, appearances at select festivals, including Metal Hammer Paradise, will conclude IRON SAVIOR’s live year.

Following the release of their latest, much acclaimed studio album Firestar, German power metal force IRON SAVIOR has unleashed a furious, new single entitled “Raising Hell”! Firestar was released in October 2023 via AFM Records, and is available at THIS LOCATION!
“Those were the days When Metal came out ways Making me stronger Day by day We’ve been the warriors To rule the gleaming city lights Metal on our minds We’re raising hell”
Sings IRON SAVIOR frontman, Piet Sielck, but give ear and listen to “Raising Hell”, now premiering and available on all digital services at: https://iron-savior.bfan.link/raising-hell
The band’s latest album, Firestar, features a wide range of influences from hard rock to pop, all calibrated to heavy metal trademark the band is known and loved for. But sometimes pure coincidence or seemingly inconspicuous little details can turn a very good album into an outstanding release. In the case of Firestar, it has come as a real surprise even for Sielck that the new songs surpass the material of the impressive 2020-album Skycrest. In fact, the cornerstones of the current offering were already set and pointed to a successful production within the tried and tested framework, when all of a sudden everything turned out rather differently: “Just before the recordings were finalised, I was inspired by the muse, totally of the blue. I wrote two more songs out of nowhere and changed a third one on the spur of the moment. And suddenly, ‘Firestar’ turned into an even better record,” Sielck recently said, admitting that this unexpected creative surge “triggered great emotions” in him.
IRON SAVIOR have again come up with an exceptional studio album in Firestar, enhanced by Felipe Machado Franco’s impressive cover artwork. The cherry on the cake is the powerful production courtesy of Hamburg’s Powerhouse Studio, including intelligently positioned keyboard parts and the anthemic background choirs, supported by Sielck’s 17-year-old daughter Frida and her boyfriend. As international press critics and increasing numbers have proved, Firestar turned into a bonfire in many respects!
