Norwegian SON OF A SHOTGUN (aka SOAS), led by Ivan “Meathook” Gujic (guitarist of BLOOD RED THRONE) – originally one-man-band who just recently recruited new members – have unleashed a video footage from the band’s first ever show with new full line-up, shot on September 6th at In Rockin, Oslo – Norway. Watch the footage, feat. the song ‘Caught on Guard’, here:

Ivan stated:
“Here is the first SOAS gig ever! With a full band. I am so happy and proud to find so talented musicians. Much respect goes to Stian Gundersen, Kristoffer Lunden and Henrik Nuland.“

Featuring artists such as: Jan Axel “Hellhammer” Blomberg (Mayhem), Maurice Adams (Motor Finger), Damage Karlsen (Chrome Division), Olivier Pinard (Cryptopsy). He has kept the album away from reviews and music experts. Always going the different way, what the average bands would do. The album was released online through “Indigoboom” in 2018. Spotify, bandcamp, soundcloud. The style of SOAS can be explained as Southern Death/Grind. Meathook is always trying to do something different and original. Not only with the music, but also with the show concepts and the wholeness within the project. In May 2019, Ivan announced new full SOAS line-up.

Norwegian SON OF A SHOTGUN (aka SOAS), led by Ivan “Meathook” Gujic (guitarist of BLOOD RED THRONE), have released a sound check video for SOAS’ new album. Watch it here:

The video was filmed at The Gun Store in Las Vegas, where BLOOD RED THRONE headlined Las Vegas Death Fest.

“Here is a quick update from the SOAS camp. This it some crazy shit from from Las Vegas. BLOOD RED THRONE did a headliner show at Las Vegas Death Fest, and I wanted to do a souns check for the new SOAS album at The Gun Store.”

SON OF A SHOTGUN mastermind, Ivan Meathook Gujic:
“News from the SOAS. I have recruited new members, Henrik Nuland on vocals and Liam Young on perk drums. They both are from Kristiansand from a band called Damnation. My vision is finally getting accomplished. We are going to do something mindblowing.”

Norwegian one-man-band, Ivan “Meathook” Gujic‘s SON OF A SHOTGUN (guitarist of BLOOD RED THRONE) have released a rehearsal video for a new song “My Bible, My Wife, My Gun”, watch it here:

Comments Ivan: “Here is some news from the SOAS camp. We are testing some new ideas with SOAS. The name of the song is “My Bible, My Wife, My Gun”. I am proud of kicking ass with these great musicians. We got big plans for the future and there will be coming 3 new live songs.”

Just previously SON OF A SHOTGUN announced new members for SOAS live project: Kristoffer Lunden (drums), Stian Gundersen (bassist) and Lennart Vonessen (guitarist). For the vocalist, Ivan stated: “The biggest challenge will be getting the right vocalist. I need a Ball-breaking frontman….. Some one like “Phil Anselmo” but eaven more intense and aggressive.”

Norwegian one-man-band, Ivan “Meathook” Gujic‘s SON OF A SHOTGUN (guitarist of BLOOD RED THRONE) has announced new members for SOAS live project!

Ivan stated:
“It’s a true honor to play with these good musicians. They are young and dedicated. Practising as much as possible and always pushing themselves to be better and better.
–Kristoffer Lunden, the drummer. He broke his own record on speed. 300 bpm. He want to be the fastest drummer in Norway, when that is accomplished, he is going for the world.
–Stian Gundersen, bassman. Monster on bass, picks up my riffs pretty fast and is trying out for “Blood Red Throne as a bass player. Wakes up one hour early before going of to work.. just to practise.
–Lennart Vonessen, I`v known this guy since he was 13 years old. Killer guitarist, fast as fuck and has my stile of writing riffs. Definitely the right man for “SOAS”

The biggest challenge will be getting the right vocalist. I need a Ball-breaking frontman….. Some one like “Phil Anselmo” but eaven more intense and aggressive.”
