More information on Jari Behm: Jari released his debut album ”Mind adventures” in 2022. This is continuation for him as a solo artist. He has influenced as a bass player in some finnish metal bands like Stratovarius, Tunnelvision ja STUD. Recently also played one track in both Mirka Rantanen’s Circus of rock ”Lost behind the mask” and Marko Pukkila’s ”Kiss my covers 3” albums.
JARI BEHM is a Finnish musician who is known especially among friends of heavier music. He was the bassist for Stratovarius in early 90’s. Later on for Finnish bands like Tunnelvision and STUD.
Mind adventures album is Jari’s type of music which represents a really broad selection of music. “I promise that I will not repeat myself on the album as the music genre of my music varies from metal, funk, classical, hard rock to blues, but still heavier music shows the biggest role”, says Jari.
Jari managed to gather vocalists who fits perfectly to the dedicated tracks. Brazilian Gus Monsanto (e.g. ex-Adagio, ex-Revolution Renaissance), Finnish Peter James Goodman (e.g. Conquest), Turkish Berzan Önen and Italian Alessandro Granato. Toni Paananen (e.g. Malpractice) played drums on 5 tracks. All tracks and lyrics are written by Jari. Also he played basses, guitars and synths.
He was two decades away from music business until he started to put more effort on music again a few years ago. It was finally time to release his own music as he has been composing songs since the middle of 80’s when he started his music career. There are many unreleased tracks in his drawer waiting to be released.
“Break from music gave me perspective how I would like to produce the music and I felt it is the time to finally release my own music without any musical limitations. Distinctiveness of instruments and sound quality without too much of compression are very important part of the whole picture and I put special attention into this”, says Jari who has mixed, produced and mastered the music by himself.
“Coming back to the point”. The most aggressive track on the album. It is about the situation today in Ukraine and human behavior generally which may drive us towards destruction.
Also check out the earlier released “Fight for a victory” Bass guitars have a big role on this track. Meant to be an empowering one. We all have obstacles in our lives which we need to win.

“Break from music gave me perspective how I would like to produce the music and I felt it is the time to finally release my own music. Today many good songs have been ruined with extreme compression and over producing. Distinctiveness of instruments and sound quality are very important part of the whole picture and I put special attention into this”, says Jari who has mixed, produced and mastered the music by himself and he continues;
“I found perfect musicians for the track. Guest on the drums is Toni Paananen and Berzan Önen on vocals. I have composed and made lyrics by myself and also played basses, guitars and synths. I hope people find this track as an empowering one”
“Fight for a victory is a sample of the upcoming album and it can be put in to Progressive metal genre box. I promise that I will not repeat myself on the album as the music genre of my music varies from metal, funk, classical, hard rock to blues”
