Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the signing of KEE MARCELLO for the release of a new album in the fall of 2016!

Kee Marcello is best known for his time as the guitar player in the band EUROPE from 1986 to 1992 on such milestone albums as “Out of this World” and “Prisoners in Paradise”. With this new album, Kee intends to go back to the sound that helped him make his mark. Expect some amazing arena rock songs, which he he started working on at the end of 2015.

Kee says: “I’m really excited about this album. I’m making a new departure from the ”Le Baron Boys” era, bringing it into the future. I’ve always felt that there was something magic about the material that Sony mysteriously refused to release on PIP, and now the time has come to put things right. It’s time to complete my ”unfinished symphony”. This is the album that Europe never managed to record after Prisoners In Paradise. The songs will have a very familiar ring for everyone who loves that era. And as a homage to all the faithful fans I’ve recorded two previously unreleased Le Baron Boys tracks on the album.With one foot in the past and one in the present I think this album will raise a lot of eyebrows – not to mention HORNS!”.

Marcello released his controversial autobiography, “The Rock Star God Forgot”, in Sweden on October 19, 2011.

Marcello made headlines in the biggest Swedish newspaper with a painfully honest interview about the memoir, which is said to be “the first sex, drugs and rock and roll book ever written by a Swede.”

“The Rock Star God Forgot” is scheduled for release in the rest of the world in English during 2012.

On October 21, 2011, Marcello released an album, “Redux: Europe”, featuring several new tracks alongside modern, heavier-sounding re-recordings of hits from Marcello‘s previous bands EUROPE and EASY ACTION. Also released on the same date were remastered and repackaged versions of Kee‘s two earlier albums, “Redux: Shine On” and “Redux: Melon Demon Divine”.

When asked why he chose to re-record EUROPE songs, Marcello said, “‘Redux’ is Latin for ‘reclaim’ or ‘take back,’ and that’s what I’m doing here. These songs are part of my past and I wanted to bring them into the future.”

Former EUROPE Guitarist To Stage First-Ever KEEFEST

Former EUROPE guitarist Kee Marcello and his manager, TMS Management, are currently “negotiating with a lot of major world famous acts” for the first-ever KeeFest, set to take place June 28-30, 2012 on the Åby racetrack in Mölndal, Sweden, right outside Gothenburg. According to TMS, “It goes without saying that Kee Marcello will be performing — not only with Kee Marcello band, but also with some of his former bands.

“As it has, the location of KeeFest is ideal: Gothenburg is located just 316 km from Copenhagen, 294 km from Oslo, 468 km from Stockholm and 270 km from Malmö.

“Besides Scandinavia, the whole continent is litterally around the corner; Germany is only 500 km away. With only a few hours by car, train or boat we reach over 40 million people.

“The huge audience capacity of Åby racetrack is creating some amazing scenarios: the blues/jazz/folk/acoustic stage (double the size of Ullevi football stadium); the main stage (four times the size of Ullevi football stadium!).”
