After the successful predecessor “Dark Mother Rises”, the female fronted melodic metallers LANKESTER MERRIN from Lower Saxony announce their third album “Dark Mother’s Child”!

Nine neck-breaking and at the same time highly melodic songs, including true metal anthems and varied mid-tempo rockers, from heavy double bass numbers to mighty power ballads, were recorded at the Institut für Wohlklangforschung in Hanover.

On “Dark Mother’s Child”, which will be released on October 24th, the band continues its breathtaking development and sometimes goes even harder than on its predecessors. Stay tuned, first tunes and further information will be available soon, a first look at the cover artwork you can find below!

“Dark Mother Rises”, the second album by the female fronted melodic/power metallers of LANKESTER MERRIN from Lower Saxony, has been in the stores since 24 March and has since received a lot of positive feedback and top marks in the national and international press. With the 9 catchy, melodic metal anthems, the likeable quintet seems to have hit a nerve.

A first taster of the album, “We Ride The Storm”, is now available! The song, which is also the album’s opener, will be released as a single on all digital platforms, as well as a lyric video on Youtube.

The single and the album are recommended to all fans of melodic metal who, despite the attribute “female fronted”, do not expect symphonic metal, but simply powerful, modern metal of the highest order.
