“Last Weep” is a tribute to Ibn Battuta, recognized around the world as one of the 10 most famous travelers in history, along with Neil Armstrong and his journey to the Moon, Fridtjof Nansen who crossed Greenland, Christopher Columbus who discovered the Americas, Xuazarg the Chinese Buddhist who traveled from China all the way to India, a journey of 17 years.
Enzo Donnarumma comments on “Last Weep” “The choice of Ibn Battuta’s subject invites to a journey towards those who appear distant, different: a mutual exchange of knowledge and experiences. A step that, in addition to peacefully improving the quality of life, could accelerate mutual paths of knowledge. The Islamic people’s proposal is particularly significant these days “
