Finland, Lahti based metallers LESS THAN THREE have released their new EP “The Black Box”. Also, watch below a studio video of their cover version of MESHUGGAH’s “Future Breed Machine”.
LESS THAN THREE started as the bedroom project of Jesse Soiletsalo in 2010. After composing a dozen songs Jesse wanted to record the tracks properly with a real drummer, so Samuli Mikkonen (PROFANE OMEN) was chosen to help with the job. The songs began to fill out but they still needed some lead vocals. After trying out a couple of singers the perfect match was found with Tommy Tuovinen (MYGRAIN). The band became whole after Pyry Hanski (ex-BEFORE THE DAWN, MÖRBID VOMIT) and Ari-Pekka Repo (ex-MURDERSHOCK) joined as bassist and second guitarist respectively.
The first “Less Than Three” EP was completed and released in March 2013. After releasing their debut EP the band was ready to hit the stage, opening for acts such as SCAR SYMMETRY and GLORIA MORTI. Their record garnered positive reviews and reception, and after firmly establishing themselves as a captivating live act, LT3 was ready for their second wave.

“The Black Box” EP was recorded during the Spring of 2014 and is now being released October 2014, by the unsigned band itself. Along the recording process of the new EP, Less Than Three also did a cover version of Meshuggah’s oldie but goldie track, “Future Breed Machine” and decided to release a studio video of it as a “teaser” for the EP.
