Spanish heavy metallers KILMARA have entered the ROLAND GRAPOW (Masterplan and Ex-Helloween) studios in Slovakia to begin recording their third album “LOVE SONGS AND OTHER NIGHTMARES” for an early 2013 release.
The band has to say: “After looking into some alternatives with Rising Records to record the new CD we decided for Roland as he always showed much interest and enthusiasm to work with KILMARA. The plan was to start recording early during summer 2012 but between Roland preparing his new MASTERPLAN album and his work with Saratoga, his agenda was fully booked until the end of summer.”
KILMARA is: Christian Wolfgang Kohl (vocals), Jonathan Portillo (guitar), Enrique Torres (guitar), Javier Morillo (drums), Raul Ruiz (bass guitar)
Guests on the new album are DAVE IMBERNÖN from ENUMA ELISH on keyboards and KALEB from young Spanish pagan death metal bandDRAKUM on the violin.
“LOVE SONGS AND OTHER NIGHTMARES” will probably be the heaviest KILMARA album up to date and finally make the breakthrough on European and International level.
KILMARA presented one of it’s new songs live on stage during Barcelona’s Harley Days in July. The song called “ALPHA” was written to support KILMARA’s favorite Beer Brewery. The fan made video can be streamed below:
