Legendary LA Rockers ANGELES have finished recording their new album, entitled “Fire It Up”, on Dark Star Records/Sony. Previously the album release date was set for October 1st, but as the studio sessions went along very smoothly, the label decided to release the album already in September. The exact date will be announced shortly. Also the album release party has been moved up to September 20th at the Whisky which will also be Dale Lytle’s Birthday Bash! Furthermore, the band has announced their new bass player, Mark Ludmer.

Stated the band:
“We have been very lucky to have some great players in Angeles over the years. While Cal is still on the new album but unable to play live right now, Jim Manzo stepped in on bass when we needed him and we are grateful. Moving forward Mark Ludmer will be playing bass for Angeles. We are super stoked to have him!!!!”

The band stated on new album:
“The new album will be heavier but still delivers in the ANGELES fashion, there are some very interesting twist and turns in the music.”
