NECRODEATH, MASTERCASTLE, VANEXA, ODYSSEA, ex-LABYRINTH guitarist PIER GONELLA‘s new instrumental solo album “Strategy” is coming out in the first months of 2020, in collaboration with Diamonds Prod. Just recently, NECRODEATH, MASTERCASTLE, VANEXA, ODYSSEA, ex-LABYRINTH guitarist PIER GONELLA announced that his new solo album is in progress. Today he’s unveiled the names of the musicians flanking him in his solo project, being completed by Marco Pesenti on drums and Giulio Belzer on bass.
Furthermore Pier has revealed the album title, “Strategy”, which is currently in mixing phase, and it’s coming out in the first months of 2020.

The musician/producer Pier reveals that he is working on an instrumental solo album in his own Musicart studios in Genoa (Italy), in collaboration with Diamonds Prod. Leaked rumors talk about a possible release in 2020. Further details will follow soon.
Ten years after their debut album “The Phoenix”, MASTERCASTLE have re-released it a limited edition on vinyl, available now at: http://www.mastercastle.net.
Moreover the band has released the new single “Still in the Flesh”, accompained by new videoclip containing a Pink Floyd cover track, two live tracks and one b-side track. The single is available for download and digital streaming at this location.

Founded in 2008 by guitarist Pier Gonella (Necrodeath, Labyrinth) and vocalist Giorgia Gueglio, Mastercastle soon became one of the leading forces in the European Power/Neoclassical Metal scene, thanks to an addictive mix of strong riffs, virtuoso guitar solos and captivating female vocals, developed through each of their four, critically acclaimed albums.
‘Wine Of Heaven’ has been described by singer Giorgia Gueglio as “a journey through the aroma of the “Nectar of the Gods”, wandering among the meanderings of the mind, discovering the flavor of life, loneliness and passion”. Recorded at MusicArt studio, this new album is characterized by a very dark mood, very low tunings and the constant and innovative use of keyboards, produced by Gonella himself, giving to the songs an avantgarde edge and compelling sound.
Mastercastle’s line-up also includes bassist Steve Vawamas and drummer Alessio Spallarossa (Sadist).
