Last Friday Udo Dirkschneider received the “MAXIMUM METAL“ Award from the leading german metal mag METAL HAMMER, issued AFM Records. Udo wants to thank everybody for this award which is something very special since only stars like James Hetfield have received it so far.

„It´s a great honor to receive such an award. And despite this award sounds like a lifetime achievement I want to let you know that we are far away from an end of my activities. Everything just really started. Be prepared for 2017 which might become another special year for all of us……! Thank you all the people out there!“

The new DIRKSCHNEIDER live album “LIVE – Back To The Roots”, which contains 25 songs from the still ongoing successful tour, where Dirkschneider performs songs from his era with ACCEPT, will be released on October 28th as 2CD Digipak and Gtf. 3-Vinyl in four different colors.
