Century Media Records are proud to welcome US death metal/grindcore veterans MISERY INDEX to its worldwide family! Active since the early 2000s, MISERY INDEX have established themselves as a stronghold for outspoken, politically charged lyrics and savage yet surgically precise metal, releasing six studio albums, several EPs and performing well over 1.000 concerts in 44 countries to date.

Now, the band has teamed up with a reliable new partner for the years to come.

Death Metal outfit MISERY INDEX have just released a brand new video of their complete live show in Nantes, which was shot during their tour with Napalm Death, Eyehategod and Rotten Sound last February. You can watch the show in full via their YouTube channel HERE!

Death metal stalwarts MISERY INDEX have teamed up with Metal Hammer (UK) to premiere their brand new mini-documentary, “History is Rotten”, which explores the history of the band. You can watch the documentary in full HERE.

Moreover, MISERY INDEX have kicked off their European tour, in which they will be supporting NAPALM DEATH along with label-mates ROTTEN SOUND. The first two shows have already sold out in advance. The full itinerary can be found below.

Death Metal outfit MISERY INDEX are now premiering a brand new video for the track ‘Decline and Fall’ which is taken from the bands’ latest album ‘Rituals of Power’ (2019). Watch the new offering, which comes with a somewhat chilling message, below.

MISERY INDEX comment on the video: “All civilizations fall [and] decline and, in the present, its members grapple dually with the lamentation of its demise and the hopefulness of new beginnings. This is us expressing precisely that.”

The band previously announced new European tour dates together with NAPALM DEATH and label mates ROTTEN SOUND. A full list of confirmed shows can be found below.

The tour will kick off at the Kulttempel in Oberhausen on February 7th, 2020 and continues through seven more countries until a final curtain in Cologne on March 8th, 2020. The band comment on the album: “‘Rituals of Power’ is a disavowal and warning against the consequences of our so-called ‘post-truth’ age. Each of the 9 songs revolves loosely around this theme, yet each track also stands very much on its own. As an album however, they are all brought to life as one ‘reanimated’ monster; it’s roughly 35 minutes of unhinged, yet cohesive, riff-driven aural ballistics. We were pissed off and on fire during both the writing and recording, and we think it shows in spades. We set out to write the best album we could, based on what we would want to hear first as fans of this music, and we could not be happier.”
