After a smashing EP titled ‘Heavy Death’, the Swedish juggernaut DISRUPTED has just unleashed a massive full length “Morbid Death” that’s going to expunge the naysayers in the scene. Backed by the ever-reliable Memento Mori label, this is the next level in Swedish death metal resurgence.

There are none better than Swedes themselves to glorify the style paved by their forefathers and  DISRUPTED  uphold the honour of DISMEMBER, ENTOMBED, (early) HYPOCRISY, GRAVE, NIHILIST, GOD MACABRE and CENTINEX. It is in the trademark Swedish style but upped with the energy of the D-beat madness, similar to DISMEMBER, and boosted by a raw, crunchy and thunderous production that will crush shards into even smaller lethal fragments this time around. The power is downright intimidating and that’s a sign of the current era – not wallowing in old school glory but taking the baton from the masters and running faster, so to speak. This retains the old glory and aesthetics but enhances the sound, speed and yes, heaviness. Time to die all over again, only more gruesomely.
