LAMB OF GOD To Perform On Newly-Announced Second North American Leg Of SLAYER’s Final World Tour

Due to popular demand, with more than half of the tour’s leg one dates already or nearly sold out, SLAYER has announced a second North American leg of their final world tour – and LAMB OF GOD is set to continue on as direct support.

The second leg of the tour will begin Thursday, July 26 at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH, and will travel to 20 cities over the course of nearly five weeks, culminating at San Jose’s SAP Center on August 26. In addition to LAMB OF GOD, ANTHRAX, TESTAMENT, and NAPALM DEATH will support SLAYER on all dates.

UK’s Grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH are soon to release the special 2CD, 2LP and Digital Download compilation “Coded Smears And More Uncommon Slurs” on March 30th, 2018 via Century Media Records.

NAPALM DEATH bassist Shane Embury checked in to comment about the upcoming compilation release as follows: “We are very thrilled to be finally releasing this compilation of rarities and covers from the past 10 years. NAPALM DEATH is a band that gives 100% when writing a song, so the songs included on this comp were saved originally for split EP’s now sold out or vinyl editions of our albums or to become Japanese bonus tracks. When I was compiling the track-listing I was struck by how exciting again these tunes are to me. I had actually forgotten some of them, haha! We have written so many tracks and the years go by so quick that you forget just how fucking great these songs are! We will most certainly be blasting a few of these out live on our upcoming shows…Cheers and see you on the road!”

“Coded Smears And More Uncommon Slurs” will include a total of 31 songs in a playing time of over 90 minutes, compiling rarities and exclusive earworms spanning 2004-2016 from the whirling gene pool of noise that is NAPALM DEATH. UK’s Grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH never slow down and are excited to announce a next headlining run across European together with Brujeria and Power Trip for April/May under the very suitable banner “Campaign For Musical Destruction”.

NAPALM DEATH’s Mark ‘Barney’ Greenway checked in with the following comment: “It’s been absurdly long since we did anything resembling a proper European tour. To make up for it, it’s nice then that we can bring along a box of crazies like Brujeria – certainly not run-of-the-mill. And Power Trip are, like, the good bits of that crossover thing from back in the day. And for our part we’ll be digging out a few sweet treats from the annals of Napalm Death. We are officially as excited as small children.”

Grindcore Gods NAPALM DEATH and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER have teamed up for a must-see co-headlining tour with select dates featuring PIG DESTROYER, MISERY INDEX, POWER TRIP, and ABNORMALITY!

Entitled “The Abysmal Predator” tour, this 21 day trek kicks off November 1st, carving up both coastlines as two of extreme metal’s most influential bands bring this death metal roulette to Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York City, Houston, and more before wrapping up in Dallas, Texas at Gas Monkey.

The vinyl-only item includes an unreleased song by NAPALM DEATH (“An Extract [Strip It Clean]”) as well as HEAVEN SHALL BURN (“Battle Of Attrition”) and comes packaged with artwork design (Both bands have an A side with own front cover artwork!) created by Frode Sylthe (The Haunted, Napalm Death, At The Gates, etc.).
