Italian experimental outfit NERO DI MARTE have shared their latest single, “L’Arca” which is taken from their upcoming record, ‘Immoto’. The song can be heard at THIS LOCATION.
NERO DI MARTE comment: “The sounds and themes of ‘L’Arca’ can in some ways be seen as a continuation of our previous album ‘Derivae,’ while delivering many new musical and vocal ideas we’ve never explored before. We can hear, in retrospect, how much we were influenced by sci-fi atmospheres for certain parts of the song. A nebulous, percussive intro builds into a spiraling crescendo of tension which ultimately ends in a dramatic climax: the Ark, along with everything we treasure, is finally free to wander off in space and time.”
‘Immoto’ will be released on January 24 via Season of Mist. It can be pre-ordered HERE.
NERO DI MARTE have previously released the artwork of ‘Immoto,’ which has been created by Alex Eckman-Lawn. The cover can be viewed together with the album details below.

Though not a “concept album”, as each song goes into a very specific and unique direction both musically and lyrically, there is an overall underlying theme in ‘Immoto’: creating a motionless, transformative space within ourselves from which creativity, actions and relationships can manifest in a more meaningful way.
