The release comes as the band gears up for their “Hell Is A Place On Earth” Tour, which will see them storm stages across Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Hungary this fall.

Following the release of their critically acclaimed 3rd album, Hellsolation, Nest of Plagues are taking their uncompromising sound and message across borders. The Romanian and Bulgarian shows (Oct 1-7) will feature ClubMurder from Malta as special guests. Spewing twisted metal since 2005, the band has become notorious for hammering out groove-laden chaos with unrelenting force, sending audiences into frenzy with every performance.

For the Greek leg of the tour (Oct 9-12), Spitback will step on stage as local support. With roots dating back to 2003, the band brings a fierce Hardcore/Nu-Metal sound influenced by the US scene, delivering raw aggression and explosive energy that perfectly matches the tour’s atmosphere.

Joining the entire Balkan tour (Oct 1-12) is Chaos Engine Research from Poland, delivering their signature brand of death groove metal. With punishing riffs and intense stage presence, they add another layer of heaviness to the lineup, making each night a relentless experience.

NEST OF PLAGUES have released a new music video for ‘Mundane’. The track is about the overwhelming fear of living an ordinary life. You might suffer in isolation for your entire life because you fear the question of whether you’re special or just another puppet. Everyone tries to find excitement and tries to prove that somehow they’re different which makes this thought even more depressing and scary: in a world where everyone is agonizing over their own significance, can anyone actually become significant?

The song’s music video is set in an arcade, where anyone can quit their everyday lives and escape from reality, if even for an hour. You can get lost in the amusement and skip your ruthless thoughts for a while, but if everyone does that, what is actual reality? The artwork of the single represents the ordinary person – the fireman, the policeman, the lonely guy, the young girl lost in the underworld. But among them, there’s the evil rearing its ugly head.

The song is taken from Nest of Plagues’ third concept album ‘Hellsolation’ being released in September 2024. The album deals with social problems and creates a metaphor for the struggles that we all go through every day. Visually the band puts these messages into a dark cyberpunk universe.

NEST OF PLAGUES have released a visualizer for ‘Blackened Sky’, taken from the band’s new album “Hellsolation”.

Blackened Sky is a story about a person who climbs up a mountain with all his effort to find the meaning of his life. On his way, he fights against physical obstacles put against him by nature like unbearable cold and extreme heights that he tries to overcome, while he also struggles with his mind. He goes through devouring thoughts in his head every second of every minute as in his mind he tries to defeat social expectations and the pressure on his shoulders created by society (or himself?). When he reaches the top, he finds absolute solitude and strength. There is only him and the endless sky there.

The song is the second single from Nest of Plagues’ third concept album ‘Hellsolation’ being released this September. In the video of Blackened Sky, the band visualizes how vulnerable and helpless a person can be while life hurdles problems at them – they just stand silently and bear the pain while they’re constantly hit in the face by ‘bombs’. Despite the serious lyrical message, they don’t break away from their eclecticism – the video has a trash horror image and doesn’t neglect humor either.
