M.A.N Announces New Guitarist

M.A.N — the group formed out of the ashes of Sweden’s TRANSPORT LEAGUE (featuring former MNEMIC frontman Tony Jelencovich) — has announced the addition of guitarist Nils Olsson to the group’s ranks.  Nils will make his live debut with M.A.N on April 16 at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg, Sweden. “Don’t Wake Up”, the latest video from M.A.N, can be viewed below.  Source: Blabbermouth.net

In Flames Adds New Guitarist

Swedish metallers IN FLAMES have officially recruited Niclas Engelin from fellow Swedes ENGEL as their new second guitarist.

Engelin has been touring with IN FLAMES for the past couple of years as the replacement for Jesper Strömblad, who quit the band in February 2010 in order to continue receiving treatment for his alcohol addiction.

The first official photo of the new IN FLAMES lineup can be viewed on left.

IN FLAMES has set “Sounds Of A Playground Fading” as the title of its upcoming tenth album, tentatively due in May. 13 songs were laid down for the CD, which was recorded at the band’s IF Studios in Gothenburg with engineer Roberto Laghi (HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, LOK, SONIC SYNDICATE). The group states, “We are very happy with the result.”
