Italian heavy metallers DEIMOS have issued the following:

DEIMOS are strongly proud to introduce their new singer: Andrea Serafini (Eternal Winter, Saintsinner). Thanks to the entrance of this new member, Deimos found its “best-incisive” line up, and is ready to get back on work for its upcoming LP.

In fact the band, right after the final completion of the works on its new album “Beyond”, had to face the decision of separating from its former singer, due to personal critical problems come to light after that point.
Thus Serafini will record the vocals part for the album, therefore the work will suffer a delay in releasing, but both Revalve Records and band members know this change will turn the album into a stunning piece of work, leading “Beyond” to a upper level!

French Melodic Thrash/Death Metallers DESTINITY have announced their new singer, please read the band’s statement below:

Hail friends and fans! It has been a few months without much news from us, during which we went through a recent line up change but also a new direction for the band. DESTINITY is now proud to present its new singer YAN PIERRAT (former lead singer of X-VISION and current singer of the band FIFTEEN ) . After having auditioned quite a number of applicants, we chose Yan for his outstanding performance that impressed all of us in terms of energy and vocal ability.

He also has various experiences on stage which will surely bring some freshness and a modern touch for DESTINITY’s future . And now a short message from YAN for you guys :

“It is with great pride that I join DESTINITY as lead singer. I wish to thank them for their trust and I can’t wait to meet you all on our next gigs ! “

Yan, a warm welcome in the DESTINITY clan ! We are really excited to introduce him to you on stage very soon…and believe us, he’ll blow you away !

We also wish to thank all the participants who submitted their applications. Thank you from the bottom of hearts for the interest that you showed for the band!

MONUMENTS: Revealed New Vocalist At Ghostfest 2013

According to Century Media Records, the UK tech-metallers MONUMENTS have just officially announced their new singer. Please welcome Chris Barretto to the band. After leaving Periphery Barretto performed with The Haarp Machine and did saxophone on TESSERACT’s current album “Altered State”. He already passed his fire test on a tiny stage during a secret show on June 27th as well as on a massive one during Ghostfest the past weekend.

I have a great love for the music that these guys create and I’m very much looking forward to being a part of that creative process. ENGEL: Revealed Teaser Video Of New Singer, Debuting At Gothenburg Sound Festival

Swedish melodic death metallers ENGEL have revealed a teaser video of the band’s new singer, who will debut at Gothenburg Sound Festival on next Friday, January 4th. Check out the teaser below.

On November 2012 ENGEL split ways with the vocalist Magnus Klavborn, and commented: “We are sad to say that Magnus will not be a member of ENGEL anymore. We had a really good run and we will miss him very much. There is no hard feelings between ENGEL and Magnus and we parted ways as friends, carrying with us a lot of good times and awesome memories.”

BATTLE BEAST Parts Ways With Singer, Announces Replacement

Finnish metallers BATTLE BEAST have parted ways with lead singer Nitte Vänskä and have replaced her with Noora Louhimo (pictured below).

Commented the band: “On August 19th, Nitte sent the rest of the band an e-mail stating that she was leaving the band, effective immediately. As the reason for her leaving, she cited her will to focus on her family life. As this happened without any prior notice, the rest us were slightly disappointed. But what’s done is done, and we’re thrilled to announce the new BATTLE BEAST vocalist with a voice and character to take the band to heights of glory.”

According to a press release, Louhimo “is already experienced in performing some of the most demanding rock songs in existence and is now ready to take her big step into the metal world. With lungs of leather and a voice to order gods with, Noora possesses all the requirements to deliver the kind of power needed for performing BATTLE BEAST‘s music.

Noora will lay down all the lead vocals on BATTLE BEAST‘s forthcoming second album, to be released in early 2013.

In the meantime, BATTLE BEAST will support fellow Finns SONATA ARCTICA on a European tour in November. The trek will consist of 20 shows in 11 countries.

CHTON Announces New Vocalist

Norwegian death metallers CHTON have announced the addition of vocalist Craig Furunes (DEMONTERA) to the group’s their ranks (see the photo below).

After their previous singer, Terje (CHTON vocalist from 2002 to 2011) left the band just after recording CHTON‘s upcoming sophomore album, “The Devil Builds”, the band had a brief period as a four-piece, with bass player Ola handling main vocals. Now CHTON has found a dedicated vocalist in Craig, and Ola is back to handling bass and backing vocals.

Commented Torstein: “Now we have found a vocalist in Craig that has the guts and dedication to front CHTON, giving 666% as he shreds his throat and spits blasphemies from the stage!”

“The Devil Builds” will be released on September 15 via the German label Godeater Records. The vinyl edition is planned for early winter 2013. Digital distribution of the effort will be handled by Morningstar Music to ensure the LP will be available via all major digital stores.

The album was mixed by Stamos Koliousis (MENCEA) and Vangelis Labrakis at 210 Studio in Berlin, known for earlier work with NATTEFROST, GEHENNA and VREID, among others.

CHTON has previously shared stages with such bands as MORBID ANGEL, BEHEMOTH, MAYHEM, AMON AMARTH and ZYKLON, and plans to embark on a European tour to promote “The Devil Builds”.

CHTON‘s digital split single “Screaming For Death” with CLEAVER is still available for streaming or download from most digital stores like Spotify, iTunes, WiMP, Amazon and many others.
