NORDHEIM Stream Three Video Clips from Canadian Final Of Wacken Metal Battle 2015

Canadian epic folk metallers NORDHEIM are streaming three video clips from their set at Canadian Finals of Wacken Metal Battle Canada 2015, filmed at the Opera House in Toronto, on June 6th.

The video clips are streaming online at this location  or can be seen individually below.

Nordheim were the Quebec Final winners, and represented the province in the Canadian Final.  Nordheim will enter the studio this Fall to record their 3rd album.  Their two previous albums were ‘Lost in the North’ released in 2011, and ‘Refill’ in 2013.  The subject matter for the new material will include “in the bands own words: dice, beer, bacon, machine guns, boobs and dinosaurs”.  More details about the new album will be revealed soon.

NORDHEIM Announce New Album “Refill” Release Dates

Maple Metal Records has issued that the Canadian epic folk metallers NORDHEIM announce their second album “Refill” will be released by Maple Metal Records of Toronto, Canada on May 1st in North America, and May 13th worldwide.

The artwork was created by Nicolas Francoeur of Vorace Art, as was their 2010 debut album “Lost in the North”. “Refill” was recorded at Badass Studio, Montreal, QC, Canada in the winter of 2012/13 and produced by Jef Fortin (Neuraxis, Augury, Blackguard, Unexpect, Kälter).

Norway’s TROLLFEST, who are on the Pagenfest America IV Tour (2013), have a guest vocal performance on the track ‘Get Drunk or Die Tryin’. The trailer for ‘Get Drunk or Die Tryin’ can be viewed at this location:

‘Soulblood’ off the album “Refill”, is streaming online below.

NORDHEIM were established in 2006, and have shared the stage with Korpiklaani, Arkona, and many other Canadian bands like Blackguard, Kemilon, Kälter, Blinded by Faith, Valknacht, and Valfreya, in their short career. NORDHEIM will be touring Quebec and Ontario this summer in support of their new album, but the details of which have yet to be announced.

NORDHEIM: “Far Away” Video Released

MAPLE METAL Records has issued the following:

“Far Away”, the new video from Quebec City, QC, Canada-based folk metallers NORDHEIM, can be seen below.  The song comes off the band’s debut album, “Lost In The North”, which was released last November via Toronto’s Maple Metal Records. The video was produced by Bookaking Productions of Montreal, QC, Canada.

NORDHEIM’s debut album “Lost In The North” was produced in 2010 at MGL Studios in Quebec City, by Maxime Lamontagne, and the album was mastered by Jean-Francois Dagenais of KATAKLYSM.  NORDHEIM were established in 2006.

NORDHEIM will be entering Badass Studios, Montreal, QC, Canada (Neuraxis, Augury, Blackguard, Unexpect) this Fall with their new drummer Lucas Biron (Kalter) to record their sophomore album to “Lost In The North”. The as yet untitled new album is scheduled for an early 2013 release date via Maple Metal Records.

NORDHEIM will be performing at HELLFEST LANAUDIERE, a 3 day metalfest north of Montreal, QC, Canada on Saturday, July 21st.  See the Event details here: http://www.hellfestlanaudiere.com
NORDHEIM will headline a show on Sept. 21 at L’Agitée, Quebec City, QC, Canada, before entering the studio.

NORDHEIM Release ‘Beer, Metal, Trolls And Vomit!’ For Xbox 360’s Rock Band 3

Viking/folk metallers NORDHEIM have released the track ‘Beer, Metal, Trolls And Vomit!’ for gameplay on Xbox 360 via the Rock Band Network. This song is for the game Rock Band 3 and was authored by Rockgamer Studios. There is also a pro expert double-bass version of ‘Beer, Metal, Trolls and Vomit!’.

Nordheim recently announced that Lucas Biron is their new official drummer, from the band KALTER. Lucas will also continue to fulfil any obligations with his original outfit. Kalter are a prog/melodeath band from Quebec City, Canada, Nordheim’s home town. A band photo with Nordheim, reveals Lucas as furthest to the left
