We have a lot of pent-up energy from sitting at home for over a year, so expect an explosive Heavy Fucking Metal show once this tour hits your town!“

In support of the new album and to celebrate the upcoming release in glorious style, OCEANHOARSE just unleashed a brand new video clip for the melodic and groove-laden heavy metal anthem “From Hell to Oblivion”!
“From Hell to Oblivion” represents Oceanhoarse at its most melodic, and it just might feature the biggest chorus on the album. The lyrics talk about false lighthouses, the inability to see warning signs in advance and how history keeps repeating itself, usually in pretty depressing ways…” the band comments.
“Dead Reckoning” drops this Friday, August 20th on Noble Demon and is available for pre-save and pre-order at THIS LOCATION

August 20th 2021 will see the release of “Dead Reckoning”, the highly anticipated debut studio album by Helsinki-based heavy metal outfit OCEANHOARSE. Featuring 13 tracks, loaded with crushing riffs, vocal harmonies and high voltage arrangements, “Dead Reckoning” shows a band willing to explore things in their very own style, instead of sticking to any kind of average formular.
After the previously- released singles “One With The Gun” and “Reaching Skywards”, today OCEANHOARSE have released a brand new lyric video for the track “The Damage”. If you’re a fan of Machine Head, Megadeth and other riff-oriented metal masters but still got a secret crush for Alice in Chains or Avenged Sevenfold -type melodic choruses, you don’t want to miss this!
‘”The Damage’ is a heavy metal anthem that begins with a moody guitar intro followed by haunting vocals. Then, the song takes a sudden U-turn and drags you in the middle of a metal mayhem filled with some lightning fast drumming! The Alice in Chains style wailing vocal harmonies and the song’s epic closure with harmonized guitars ultimately leads us to the punchline: ‘The damage is done.” the band comments.
“Dead Reckoning”, the group’s first studio album (OCEANHOARSE released a live album “The Damage is Done – LIVE!” last year, recorded on their first European tour) will be released on August 20th through Noble Demon and is available for pre-save and pre-order HERE

Helsinki-based Heavy Fucking Metal (patent pending!) group OCEANHOARSE have released their new single “Reaching Skywards” today. With its in-your-face metal riffing, 90’s style psychedelia and astral beauty of the chorus, this is quite possibly the most versatile Oceanhoarse song to date.
“Reaching Skywards’ is my favorite track from our upcoming album”, drummer Oskari Niemi announces. “It kicks off with some eardrum-slapping metal before the verse brings a dose of funk to your afternoon, and finally the chorus lifts you up into the skies. This has to be the most twisted combination of grooves so far in our catalog! I rarely get emotional, but Joonas’ (Kosonen, vocals) screams in the second half of the song always give me chills“.
“It’s a never-ending source of amazement to me how some people have no issues exploiting others and watch the world burn around them while they keep getting wealthier and more powerful. There’s nothing scarier than inhumanity and lack of compassion. I find myself leaning towards these topics time and again when writing lyrics”, guitarist Ben Varon continues.”

OCEANHOARSE, the four-piece heavy metal outfit from Helsinki, Finland, has been operating a couple of years with a relentless self-made attitude releasing a bunch of singles, an EP “Voluntary Bends” in 2019 and a live album “The Damage is Done – LIVE!” in 2020. The year 2021 sees the band moving up a gear with the German label Noble Demon. The brand new single “One with the Gun” displays the band’s love for vocal harmonies and crushing riffs accompanied with a strong message.
“’One with the Gun’ is about the twisted power trip some people seem to be on once they get a piece. There are constantly horrific news about the consequences of that ”I am the law” attitude happening all over the world way too often. So the statement the song makes is clearly really anti-violent even though the title sounds pretty menacing when you first look at it”, bass player Jyri Helko comments and continues:
“We are really thrilled to start working with Noble Demon! The German label is a new player in the game, but the people behind it have a strong background in the industry and they’ve already managed to build quite an impressive roster around the up-and-coming acts like Mercury Circle and the newly activated Dawn of Solace. We are currently starting the recordings of our first full-length studio album scheduled to be released this fall, so get ready for some Heavy F*cking Metal from Finland!“
The yet untitled debut studio album is scheduled to be released in August 2021 via Noble Demon. Having played shows all the way from Tokyo with Beast in Black to Central Europe supporting former Nightwish singer-bassist Marko Hietala, the band’s reputation as a strong live act can be witnessed with these domestic shows booked later this year (dates may be subject to change):
