After years of rumours about their second coming, OSCULUM INFAME make official the rebirth of the less popular French B.M. act with the rerelease of all their demos on LP and CD under the name “Manifesto From the Dark Age” in 2010. The new line up, restrained to guitarist originator Drack aka Deviant and drummer Malkira record at home in the pure black metal tradition 2 new tracks for the EP “QUWM”. It’s beyond all doubt that Osculum Infame has nothing to do with mere human political ideas and draw its hate far away in Darkness. Joined by the guitarists I.Luciferia and Dispater the band recorded 15 titles in 2011 at their home studio AMSG to release the MCD “Consuming the Metatron” and the new full album (the real second full album in the story of the band) “The AXIS OF BLOOD”.

The AXIS OF BLOOD will be released by Battlesk’rs on May 22nd 2015.

Portland, Oregon’s extreme metal/sludge powerhouse BASTARD FEAST (Taylor Robinson- guitar, Joshua Green- vocals, Nickolis Parks- drums, Justin Yaquinto- guitar, and Jesse Aspy- bass) have announced a North American tour. The full US tour, starts on Halloween night in Sacramento and runs for a month. A full list of confirmed dates can be found below.

BASTARD FEAST will be touring in support of ‘Osculum Infame’, which is streaming here. ‘Osculum Infame’ which has been called a “tightly arranged, light-eating burst of ferocity” (Decibel Magazine) is available for purchase at the Season of Mist E-Shop. BASTARD FEAST’s full-length was recorded, mixed and mastered by Stephan Hawkes (ATTILA, EXOTIC ANIMAL PETTING ZOO, RED FANG) at Interlace Audio (RED FANG, CHINO MORENO, CHELSEA GRIN) in Portland, Oregon.

Regarding the new album, guitarist Taylor Robinson said “The new record is a change in the path for us. We have dialed in our sound even more and sold our souls to hell to channel more darkness. The album is lyrically bleak and filled with contempt. Adding a 2nd guitar and finding our new bass player Jesse has completed our brotherhood for this band. We feel that everyone who will hear this music will be drawn in. It is truly hateful and inspired.”

Fusing an unhealthy dose of death metal with the heavier elements of Doom, a dissonant take on hardcore, and the visceral aspects of black metal, BASTARD FEAST have continually followed their DIY ethos. The band has been seen touring the United States relentlessly both on their own, and with such notable bands as: GAZA, ROTTEN SOUND, BLACK BREATH, LANDMINE MARATHON, and THE ACCUSED, and more.
