Drum Veteran PAT GESUALDO Updates Tracks for “Metal Hall of Fame All Stars CD”

Drum veteran Pat Gesualdo has been busy as of late writing and adding new drum tracks to the second version of the Metal Hall of Fame All Stars CD. It is planned for release in November, 2025.

Deko Entertainment/ADA/Warner Music Group distributes the first volume of the CD, which features a mastery blend of metal and prog, with a technical instrumentals. It is available as a single CD, or a box set, which includes the All Star CD, a DVD of past Metal Hall of Fame Gala Inductions and performances, a Metal Hall of Fame key chain, T-Shirt, and 5 4×6 versions of the iconic Metal Hall of Fame skull artwork. Acclaimed Studio/Touring drummer / Author / Clinician Pat Gesualdo has recorded the drum tracks on the Metal Hall of Fame All Stars CD/DVD. The charity project is a release from Deko Entertainment / ada / Warner Music Group, and helps bring free music programs to special needs children in health facilities and community centers. This once in a lifetime collaboration of rockstars is huge news for music fans across the globe!!

The Metal Hall of Fame All Star Charity CD features Rudy Sarzo, (Whitesnake), Bruce Kulick (KISS), Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow), Chris Poland (Megadeth), guitarist Tony MacAlpine, and Chris Impellitteri (Impellitteri), It also features a jam from the Annual Metal Hall of Fame Celebrity Gala that includes Steve Vai (David Lee Roth), Geoff Tate (Formerly Queensryche), guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, Bjorn Englan (Yngwie Malmsteen/Dio Disciples), Chris Poland (Megadeth), and studio/touring drummer Pat Gesualdo. Jimmy Kay from Canada’s The Metal Voice recently spoke to founder/CEO Pat Gesualdo of the Hall Of Heavy Metal History, which is an induction ceremony dedicated to enshrining forever, those Legendary musicians, record company executives, journalists, and producers who are responsible for making Heavy Metal music what it is today.

Pat Gesualdo was asked about the differences between the Hall of Heavy Metal History to other award ceremonies and he said, “The Hall of Heavy Metal History is the one place those legendary and iconic musicians that have been carrying the flag for so long for Heavy Metal can be inducted, we are the home for those musicians. Those people who have been working so hard for decades, so we honour them in an induction ceremony every year. A lot of these other ceremonies only want relevant bands now and maybe one or two guys that are actually literally responsible for starting the genre. We honour some of the newer musicians as well but mostly the originators, the founders of Metal. The Hall of Heavy Metal History is also a non-profit organization, proceeds go to helping disabled children and wounded veterans and support the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund.”

Gesualdo was also asked about if Metal fans around the world can be involved in the voting process he replied, “The voting system is overseen by the Hall of Heavy Metal History Nominating Committee. The committee is comprised of major record company executives and Legendary musicians. He continued,So in order to open up the whole process to the fans throughout the world were going to be posting on the website ( FACEBOOK.COM/HALLOFHEAVYMETALHISTORY) categories. The induction ceremony will include Rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal musicians and bands over the years that are responsible for bringing heavy Metal where it is today. Then the world will get a chance to choose who they want, so the fans get to be involved in the process. It does not only have to be what we list and post, the fans can always send in somebody that may not be the list and we welcome that too. And then it goes to the committee and the most votes for each person/band will then be inducted into the Hall of Heavy Metal History. The electronic voting will probably be opening soon and that will go to September, October 2017. Modern Drummer will be one of the sites involved as an access point, they will be posting it on their Website and social media that will all filter back into the nominating committee.”

Note
Nomination Committee members must be active music industry professionals for a minimum of 10 years before they are eligible to vote. They cannot not be retired for more than 5 years. All inductees will be nominated in September, before the Hall of Heavy Metal History Induction Ceremony in January. The Hall of Heavy Metal History reserves the right to modify the nomination process, and remove/revoke any Nomination or Inductee.

This year the induction ceremonies will take place on January 24, 2018 at the Wynn Hotel in Anaheim California

– Legendary status of Artist, Band, Executive, or Journalist for a minimum of 20 years (With the exception of Current Legend category).
– Character
– Contributions to a band, bands, the music industry, and possibly societal involvement.

Jimmy Kay from Canada’s The Metal Voice recently spoke to CEO/Founder of ‘The Hall of Heavy Metal History’ Pat Gesualdo. This Annual Celebrity Ceremony and Benefit Concert will be held at the Anaheim Expo Center on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in Anaheim CA. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the “Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund”. Event will be hosted by Eddie Trunk, which include performances by the Dio Disciples (Tim Ripper Owens)  and many more.

When asked on how the idea for a Hall of Heavy Metal history came about

“It is something I developed because I saw the way that certain musicians were not being treated well from some of the major award shows. So I thought I need to do something about this and so I started the Hall for Heavy Metal History. I came up with the this idea  to help honour those musicians are often over looked and ignored but are the pioneers of heavy metal.”

When asked how artists are inducted

“There is a whole team of people who vote. What we are going to start next year, is that we are going to open everything up to the general public, around the world, it has to be about the fans and I want their input 100%. Cause this is all about the fans and its all about the musicians”

What are the criteria in being inducted

“Album sales are important, what  the artists have done in the industry and what have they been able to do  as musicians. You will see that common thread between everybody inducted.

When asked why Rudy Sarzo was inducted

“Well Rudy is one of those musicians who has kept that torch burning bright, he is out there working his butt off and he has been such an iconic figure, through Ozzy, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake and all the other projects he has been involved with, so that’s definitely the criteria to look for in nominating somebody and he has sold 2.5 million albums. Also he has given back to society. Rudy Sarzo  with his involvement in animals is phenomenal

When Asked why Don Airey was inducted

Don has played on over 300 albums isn’t that amazing and I guess all I really have to say is Mr Crowely. It’s so nice to see Don Airey being able to fill the roll in Deep Purple. Don Airy is another one playing  sometime like 250 live dates a year, that’s just insane
