RAMMSTEIN Frontman Till Lindemann has teamed up with HYPOCRISY/PAIN‘s Peter Tägtgren for a new new side-project LINDEMANN. For the moment their Official Facebook Page doesn’t reveal any further details about the project.

Swedish death metallers HYPOCRISY have been forced to cancel their previously announced North American tour due to reasons beyond their control. The band members had received their visa approvals and everything was going as scheduled until the embassy let them know that the earliest they could pick up their visas, get them stamped and so on, wasn’t until late June at the earliest. A regular procedure that would normally take just a few days to sort takes much longer at the moment due to that current workload Homeland Security is experiencing.
“As we were getting ready to go get our visas stamped and ready for the tour we were informed that the earliest we could go initially was sometime in July,” explains HYPOCRISY guitarist/vocalist Peter Tägtgren. “We then immediately continued to call them, got the label to help with some letters, and put our lawyer to work etc. The best that got us was an appointment in late June.
“This is a HUGE blow to us, to our fans and everyone who has supported HYPOCRISY in North America.
“Sometimes there are battles you can’t win, and this is one of them. We will be back, I can promise that!”
The trek was also set to feature Brazilian brothers in death KRISIUN, Belgian gore-grinders ABORTED, and technical-melodic-death-masters ARSIS, as well as AUTUMN’S END and STARKILL on select shows. The tour will continue as previously scheduled at this time minus HYPOCRISY and ABORTED.
HYPOCRISY‘s latest album, “End Of Disclosure”, was released in Europe on March 22 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was produced by Tägtgren at his Abyss Studio in Sweden. The artwork was created by Wes Benscoter (SLAYER, KREATOR, NILE, VADER).
HYPOCRISY‘s “Hell Over Sofia – 20 Years Of Chaos And Confusion” DVD/CD was released in October 2011 via Nuclear Blast. The disc contains footage of the band’s February 27, 2010 concert at the Blue Box club in Sofia, Bulgaria.

HYPOCRISY‘s latest album, “A Taste Of Extreme Divinity”, sold 1,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 23 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Pretending to be what one is not is something Peter Tägtgren can never be accused of. He is a living embodiment of music, the multi-instrumentalist Tägtgren has been a central and active figure in the extreme metal movement for over a decade. A well-known insomniac workaholic who lives life at a relentless pace, Peter is the founder, main composer, lead singer, and guitarist of the death metal band HYPOCRISY. Although Hypocrisy is his main band, he has also worked on many other Swedish metal projects. These include PAIN, for which he performs all instruments and vocals and composes all songs; he also appeared as a live guitarist for the bands Marduk and E-Type. … just to mention a few.
HYPOCRISY’s new album “End Of Disclosure” will be released on March 22 by Nuclear Blast. Just a month before the release Metal Shock Finland‘s Tarja Virmakari had a chance to interview Peter, during the interview he talks widely about the new album and its writing process. “We Come In Peace”, the new DVD from PAIN, was released in Europe on November 16, 2012 via Nuclear Blast. The DVD+2CD digibook and the Blu-ray+2CD digibook includes the entire final show of the first leg of PAIN‘s European tour on November 13, 2011 at Debaser Medis in Stockholm and clips from the band’s July 2012 appearance at the Masters Of Rock festival in Vizovice, Czech Republic, as well as “tons of crazy backstage and behind-the-scenes footage.”

Oceanic Sharks Booking Agency Sydney – Australia hasn’t yet provided us with flights or working visa for this tour and we’re forced to leave next Monday, January 14th. We have asked time after time after time, and even put up a deadline to deliver that, but he has failed to do so for 3 months now. It’s so close that it’s all too late now. We can’t even get into the country even if we had flight tickets, cause he didn’t fix working visa for us yet.
I can only hope you get your money back for the tickets you bought, and that a real booker from Australia will invite us soon so we can finally go to your country. Not really a good start of a new year… Hope to see you soon!”
