Thrash/Death metallers PHOBOS PREACHER have revealed the new cover design of the new opus, entitled “Asfixia” (Suffocation). The artwork design has been created by the artist Jose Antonio Vives.

In words of the band:

“We wanted to express how is feeling the people and how those in power suffocate us, so we just can see one way forward. Many people has decided to take their lives away. With this dictatorship and fascist laws that end up sinking the human being, leading to extreme madness. As we said many times, music is our great weapon. Our problems are the same problems as the rest of the population (or most)”.

Phobos Preacher will enter the studio in the month of February and the album will be mastered by Daniel Cardoso (Anathema, Angelus Apatrida, Noctem).

The Art Gates Records team is pleased to announce the incorporation of Death/Thrash Metal act PHOBOS PREACHER to its roster. This five-pieced combo from Zaragoza (Spain) was born in 2011 and is composed by musicians of a great background in the spanish Metal scene. The sound of Phobos Preacher combines the deepness and heaviness of Death Metal with the power and punch of the most international Thrash Metal, treating about current topics, Phobos Preacherare the voice of the people.

After releasing their first full length “Humanos” in mid-2013, PHOBOS PREACHER started an extensive tour throughout Spain, sharing stage with big names in the scene, such as Ktulu, Grave Digger or Sodom. Currently, the band is immersed in the creating process of their awaited second album, to be released worldwide by Art Gates Records in 2015.
