Hamburg, Germany-based Platinum PR is an independent PR agency who specializes in European & UK publicity for bands with loud guitars! Founded in 2010 by former Tiefdruck-Musik publicity powerhouse Mona Miluski, Platinum PR boasts an intimate roster of well respected, underground artists and musically diverse talent with DIY ethics. Ripple Music has been making a big splash in Europe and the U.K. The California-based heavy rock label has already been recognized as one of the world’s leading labels for 70s-tinged retro-heavy rock, and has garnered accolades and appreciation by rock fans for their quality of music and love of both vinyl and CD formats. The recent recipient of a nomination for Independent Record Label of the year in the prestigious TBFM 2013 Industry Awards, several Ripple artists have been making a huge splash in the European scene, touring regularly and playing all the major festivals. Bands like Mos Generator, Ape Machine, Stone Axe are no stranger to European shores (not to mention such 70s legends as Leaf Hound, Poobah and JPT Scare Band), and other Ripple artists like Trucker Diablo and Grifter are U.K. based and frequent performers on the U.K. and European Festival circuits. Add to that list, the smash success of Texan trio, Mothership, who’ll be hitting Europe this spring, and the need for a full-time press agent in Europe was apparent.

Platinum is proud to welcome a new member & one fantastic band to our artist roster & little family of rock: ALUNAH from the UK! Recently billed as the “Future of Doom” by Terrorizer Magazine, Alunah’s “White Hoarhound”, their second album and first for PsycheDOOMelic Records, will be released on Monday 3rd September 2012.

Recorded by Greg Chandler (Serpentcult, Esoteric & Moss) and mixed / mastered by Tony Reed (St.Vitus & Trippy Wicked), “White Hoarhound” follows on the back of their recent appearances at DesertFest London and Sal Abruscato ‘s (Type O’ Negative) A Pale Horse Named Death Wolverhampton show and see’s the band take their Paganistic Doom sound to new levels.

Consisting of Soph Day (vocals and guitar), Dave Day (guitar), Gaz Imber (bass) and Jake Mason (drums), Alunah hail from the Midlands, UK and have spent the last 6 years building up a reputation for being one of the country’s most hardworking and consistent live bands by playing national dates in top O2, HMV etc sponsored venues with international artists such as Paradise Lost, Trouble, Fu Manchu, Orange Goblin, Karma to Burn, Acid King, Firebird, Roadsaw, Witchcraft, Graveyard, Taint, Sally, Blaze Bayley, Winnebago Deal, Litmus, Witchsorrow, The Crave, Charger, Conan, Doomraiser, Black Spiders, Lord Vicar and Nebula to name just a few.

As well as their reputation as a great live band, Alunah’s previous catalogue of recorded work (debut album “Call of Avernus”, “Fall to Earth” EP and “Song of the Sun” single) has received plaudits from around the world leading to their current home on the PsycheDOOMelic Records’ roster.
