After the successful February dates with Wolf it is now time for us to record and release the new material we have written. We are currently in talks with our studios and producers of choice and are aligning the processes – we are incredibly excited for you to hear it!

Before a new chapter begins the band must prepare for this huge commitment mentally, physically and materially – at this crossroads our drummer Chris Chilcott and bassist Jamie Lordcastle have decided to step down and focus on other areas in their lives, a decision we fully respect, understand and appreciate the timing of.

We would like all of you to join us in thanking them for their invaluable work and effort into the band. The band would not have made it this far without them. We also thank them for their honesty and gentlemanly conduct – our parting is amicable and we wish them nothing but the best.

As for the rest of us our priority now is to work flat out to bring you the best album we can, and find worthy replacements to carry on our legacy.

Statement from Chris:

“After more than 7 years with Primitai, it’s time for me to step down and pursue other adventures (both musical and non-musical). I’d like to thank everyone that helped us get to where we are today (particularly Factory Music, Paul, Chris E., Nick, Tom, and Graham), everyone behind the scenes, and all the guys in the band. More than anything, I want to thank every person that ever came to a show, bought a t-shirt, downloaded a song, and raised their metal horns with us – all of that meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

I’ve had some really good times, played some really good shows, and made some really good songs – those memories are what I’ll take away from all of this.
