The latest album of Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY, “Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus”, was chosen to be the first studio album in music history to be remixed in Dolby Atmos. Renowned producer/mixing engineer Chris Heil (DAVID BOWIE, BRYAN ADAMS, SCORPIONS) mixed the entire masterpiece in Dolby Atmos – the mindblowing result will be submitted for the 2017 Grammy nominations. This unique package will be completed by two brand-new live CDs, which were produced by Luca Turilli and Alex Landenburg, mixed by Christian “Moschus” Moos at Spacelab Studio (Grefrath, Germany) and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (San Marino). “Prometheus, The Dolby Atmos Experience + Cinematic And Live” will be released on December 9th via Nuclear Blast.

Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY are proud to announce the release of their new single, a “reloaded” version of the song ‘Il Cigno Nero’ (from the album “Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus”) sounding epic and cinematic but at the same time very powerful too, featuring partially re-arranged keyboards and completely re-arranged and re-recorded guitar and bass parts. The song will be released by Nuclear Blast on December 18th together with a lyric video created by Luca Turilli.
Once again, the song was recorded and mixed at the Backyard Studios of Sebastian Roeder and mastered at the MSM Studios of Christoph Stickel.
Alessandro Conti, the singer of the band, explains: ”When Luca composed ‘Il Cigno Nero’ and arranged the orchestral and choral parts for it, we immediately thought that such song would have sounded special with louder guitars too. This new single release is a great chance to let the people enjoy one of our favorite album tracks dressed in a different way and showing the heaviest side of the band.”
Stefan Heilemann (EPICA, LINDEMANN) created a new amazing artwork for ‘Il Cigno Nero [Reloaded]’. Alex Landenburg, the drummer, states: “Since the work he made for the “Prometheus” album, we all felt in love with his unique graphic style. Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY, the masters of cinematic metal, will release their new outstanding album Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus on June 19th (EU), June 22nd (UK) and June 30th (US) via Nuclear Blast.
The band presents the second single of the new opus “Prometheus” which includes Ralf Scheepers of PRIMAL FEAR as part of the choir.

Mastermind Luca comments: “With my band I like to dedicate a few songs to well-known myths and legends in every album. But what I really like is to take these subjects and “dig” into them revealing new interpretations often related with deeper spiritual meanings. So I surely start from the tale of Prometheus everybody knows, but soon transposing it in a timeless dimension where the Ignis Divinus, the divine fire given by him to the men, represents nothing else than a quantum gate revealed to a mortal soul on its journey to the immortal cosmic truth.”

Prometheus: Symphonia Ignis Divinus was once again composed and produced by Luca Turilli.. It was recorded and mixed at the Backyard Studios by Sebastian Roeder (Bonfire) and mastered at MSM studios by Christoph Stickel (Michael Schenker’s TEMPLE OF ROCK).
Seven months of composition, three months of production, over 50 days of mixing, two choirs, several special guests, including Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR), Dan Lucas (KARO) and David Readman (PINK CREAM 69) went into the new album. Prometheus: Symphonia Ignis Divinus showcases 70 minutes of epic music that will take the listener on an emotional and memorable journey between quantum gates, parallel dimensions, myths and legends hiding cosmic truths, ancestral secrets and spiritual revelations.
In an effort for RHAPSODY’s sound to match their look, the album cover artwork and the album booklet introduces the new cinematic graphic style of the band, realized by the well-known artist Stefan “Heile” Heilemann (EPICA, LINDEMANN).

Today is the release of the first digital single ‘Rosenkreuz (The Rose And The Cross)’, for which the band created a fantastic lyric video.
Luca Turilli commented the song and the lyrical background as follows: “While trying to understand more about the subject of metaphysics and spiritual evolution, my intention was to discover more about the primordial original spiritual source that, when manipulated more or less wisely later by man, gave birth to all the religions. Many people dedicated all their life and their studies to this subject, like for example HELENA BLAVATSKY who tried to condensate all in her theosophical perspective or RUDOLF STEINER that tried to improve the society of his time with his anthroposophy. The truth is that whoever tried to discover more about such spiritual source linked with the primordial photon energy and the immortal secret related with it, sooner or later had to face the myth of CHRISTIAN ROSENKREUZ. The RHAPSODY song ‘Rosenkreuz (The Rose And The Cross)’ tells about the great origin of the Rosicrucian Order and tells about the 12 wise men, keepers of the spiritual wisdom of the Ancients and of the highest intellectual knowledge of their time that, willing to react against the corrupted and amoral society of their time, found in the “13th one” the personified synthesis of such immortal secret reflected in the absolute and purest essence of light and love.”
